Lovely building, clean modern room, very friendly staff, good breakfast with scrambled and fried eggs and bacon, nice little pool and deck, a 15-20 minute easy walk to the nearest beach and another 5-10 minutes into the old town for tapas and wine though on our second night we found a lovely restaurant 10 minutes from the hotel (Ahaztezina), secure private parking garage with large spaces within the building on the ground floor (no scary tight underground garage here!).
Located just 250 metres from Ondarreta Beach, Sercotel Codina offers modern air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. All the rooms come with a minibar, flat-screen satellite TV and private bathroom.

This was my second time at the hotel in 2 months. The location is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. Very kind and helpful. I also really appreciated the private parking as we were travelling with bicycles
Lovely kept flat in an ideal location for getting the 10-minute train into San Sebastian; loads of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets within a couple of minutes walking distance but what made the biggest difference was the amazing and helpful host Ainara who not only sent loads of recommendations of things to do and places to eat in Lasarte and San Sebastian but went the extra mile helping us find a garage and even vets!!! not enough stars to rate this accommodation :-)
Clean and confortable 2 star hotel (so don’t expect the extras that come with 4 star hotels such as hair dryer, tea/coffee in room, etc). Friendly staff and the side parking and cafe are really convenient. Its only a 10-15 minute drive from San Sebastián and full of cafes within a 10 minute walk; also a great patisserie/bakery a 5 minute walk perfect for good coffee and selection of teas and pastries or savoury breakfast.
The location. I was on a long car trip and this is right next to the motorway which was very convenient. I also had parking close to the hotel which was great. There are 2 restaurants nearby and a gas station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is simple but comfortable.
Reception and greeting were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Laura and George were great.
Hotel is in a cool town with lots of eating and drinking options and is only 15 mins (4 stops) on the train to San Sebastian. Lasate-oria train station is 4min walk from the hotel.
