Ease of leaving! Friendliness of the staff. 24 hour reception was excellent. Really very helpful overnight reception person providing blankets, a heater and replacement table lamp which did not work (ever) in our room. Restaurant staff, breakfasts were very good and fairly priced.

Clean, smart and spacious room. One would think from the outside that it may be a bit below par, but quite the reverse. Lovely modern room, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, made this a pleasant stay. A bit of a walk into Avila, but nice enough, and not taxing. Plenty of supermarkets in the vicinity made for easy shopping. Couldn't fault it. If you get a front facing room, look out for the sunrise on the mountain, awesome!
Only 4 minutes' walk from Ávila Cathedral, Hotel Las Leyendas is set in the old town. It is a charming and sympathetically converted manor house that dates back to the 16th century.
