Good location, close to a cafe/bar and a nice view from the balcony. Interesting books for children and adults.
A typical Spanish small town with loads of atmosphere.
A typical Spanish small town with loads of atmosphere. Nothing pretentious and very friendly locals.
Although it was a Monday night many youngsters were out that night and all seemed to be enjoying themselves but without any raucous behaviour.
I was given free tapas with every drink I ordered and enjoyed a lovely fish platter and salad which was very reasonably priced. Pleased to say no chips! If you are looking for a MacDonalds or Burger King this town is probably not for you!
Great location on your way south to Andalucia, or even for a longer stay. The Palacio is a beautiful decorated hotel, nice room and bathroom, clean, and above all the friendly and very helpful staff should be mentioned.
Although this hotel does not provide breakfast or meals, cafetarias and restaurants are nearby, staff is happy to provide recommendations and directions. Drinks are available in the hotel.
There is sufficient street parking available in front of the hotel.
The outdoor pool was an excellent facility. It was a minimum of 1.5m deep so a good depth to swim. More a pool for adults than young children. It was nice to have a table and 2 comfortable chairs in the room. Also you could make coffee and various teas for yourself in a room on the ground floor. For us this was an overnight stop off to break a long drive. It was a very good choice for the purpose, much nicer than a modern motorway hotel.
Very nice family-owned hotel with swimming pool. Small hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms are small but nice decorated and the main building is gorgeous (old traditional house). I recommend this hotel if you have to make a stop in a nice village on the road between Madrid and Andalucia.
Perfectly located in the centre of the town. A stop in Guarroman is highly recommended if only to spend a night at the beautiful, clean and friendly Palacio, eat dinner at the La Mesquite restaurant and stock up on local pastries at the Bermúdez cake shop and cheese at Quesos&Besos!
This is a very interesting hotel in historical Spanish style. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Conveniently close to the autobahn. We will use this hotel again.
What a lovely hotel! Beautiful property and beautiful people. Could not have asked for more. We arrived during the town’s fair day which was an unexpected magical surprise. Didn’t want to leave.
Very nice interior of the building, probably in the old Spanish style. As a historical monument, it deserves a visit, as a hotel, as for my part, definitely not.
