Pedro was absolutely the best, lovely guy and very welcoming and friendly
The hotel although clean and tidy, also having a garage to put the motorcycle’s in, was ok to good. There is no evening meals. We had to buy snacks from a supermarket across the street. You can go along the river up to the town where there is a few bars. This will take 20-30 minutes. The guy on reception was helpful.
Not too far to walk along the attractive riverside path to the town centre and bus and railway stations (if the weather is good). Clean, convenient hotel, especially for a one-night stop. Close walking distance to the River Carrión and the excellent riverside Embrujo restaurant. Supermarkets in front of the hotel.
Clean, large rooms and good (cold) breakfast choice. We were allowed to park our motorcycles in the secure garage, which saved a lot of unloading of luggage - very much appreciated. The hotel had a private party in full swing as we arrived but the staff were quick to check us in and serve a very welcome beer!
On the final night of a 13 day cycle race through Spain we stayed in Guardo. The welcome we received from our hosts was the warmest of our entire trip. These people really know how to look after guests. Great room. Great food. Nothing too much trouble.
A very clean and efficient hotel with plenty of room and a cafe attached. It was really handy to store my bike in the underground car park. Also a convenient supermarket just across the road.
The restaurant and bar were appreciated as the hotel was well out of town. I was able to take possession of my room before check-in time. The hotel was well placed for local walks.
Location is good for travelling by car, but 20 minutes walking from station Guardo Ap. Supermarket with cafetaria in front of hotel. Breakfast is simple but not expensive (€4).
New hotel with very friendly and effective staff. Location a bit away from the centre of Guardo, but supermarket and a nice outdoor restaurant are nearby
