Beautiful surroundings, exceptionally clean room. The lady tending to the bar the night of our stay spoke little English , but she ensured she found a staff member to communicate with us, she was polite and happy and made us feel so welcome . The staff team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay so pleasurable. The food was delicious and we ate in the garden of the hotel with beautiful surroundings

Our hosts were outstanding, very friendly and helpful.
We were able to park our motorcycle in the walled garden which was very secure and made it very easy for us to unpack.

Last minute booking the hotel didn't open until 7.30 but a beautiful hotel after getting in everyone in a group of eight wanted to stay a second night but booked out great value for money and great dinner and breakfast and a fantastic host

The welcome was friendly, professional and in English. Our room was spacious and quiet. The bicycles were parked in a secure garden behind a locked gate. It's possible to charge e-bikes there using an extension lead. The best thing was the info we received about riding to Plasencia and onto Béjar. The Via Verde between the two is a real cycling treat. Oh, and there's a lively restaurant just across the road.
Set in the heart of Extremadura, 10 km from Cáceres, Apartamento Barbancho features functionally apartments with air-conditioning and heating system. Some of them have a private furnished courtyard.
Excellent one night stop at this hotel. Little off the beaten track but well worth the drive from the motorway. Great food in the restaurant at a very reasonable cost. Good choice at breakfast although fairly crowded due to coach party staying. Dog friendly & they provide dog beds, toy, bowls & doggy wipes for €15 per dog.
Modern hotel in an historic building. Lovely renovation with plenty of history. The included evening meal was excellent and above expectations. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Would be more than happy to re-visit and happy to recommend.
Beautiful old hotel (former palace) set in lovely surroundings. Fabulous views from our rooms on the third floor. The pool and gardens are well maintained. Dinner was inexpensive and good. Parking was plentiful within the old palace walls.
