The host waited for us upon arrival and helped us with the parking. It was a nice welcome. The apartment is well equipped and spacious. We had a balcony and a terrace and also some sundbeds. We liked the modern interior and thoughtful welcome goodies. The hosts were very helpful and at our disposal. The apartment is located 5 min from everything in town and has a wonderful view with the ocean in sight. We'd definitely recommend staying.

- Apartment has a great big terrace with a view on the city. Photos from booking doesn’t show how awesome is it in real!
- Hosts were friendly, they let us check in earlier, told us everything about the Garachiko and immediately replied to all our questions ;)
- The house is equipped with all you need: medicine, a shower, a huge variety of dishes, and all laundry.
- The bed was comfortable.
- You need Only few mins to get a beach.
Overall, this place is worth to stay. So if you are doubting should you go to Garaniko or not - it’s your answer :)
I will definitely return here again!

Very traditional unique Canarian house. Decor and furniture very much in keeping with old style of property but all functioned very well

The positives is it was a small local town and it was attractive. It had plenty of restaurants and ice cream bars for a different place each night. Food was reasonably priced although quality was variable.
The downside was you had to drive from there to most places and some of the roads were very bendy so often meant we were driving for long periods of time. Tip - I wouldn't recommend the step windy road to get into the town but drive the 1.5 km further to use a better road.

A beautiful, historic town with lots to see.
A beautiful, historic town with lots to see. The restaurants and cafes offer a vast array of delicious food and excellent affordable local wine. The sea pools weren’t open as we were there early in the season. The local shops have an interesting array of local and artisan products. Well worth a visit, just takes a little time to get there.

Nice little town with many restaurants and bars.
Nice little town with many restaurants and bars. Opening hours were a little sporadic and what was open one day was closed the next so fun walking around looking to see what was available.
The town is a charming Canarian town with lots of interesting streets and areas to explore. Some areas are a little run down and there are many empty buildings but the town retains a a lot of character and life.
This is a predominantly a Spanish town so no mass tourism.
You get a lot of day trippers so the streets, bars and coast can appear very busy at peak times but outside of this it is still possible to find the quiet and the genuine atmosphere that you have probably come here to look for.

We loved Garachico, authentic Caranian houses built on hilly cobbled streets , a good choice of restaurants although we found them to be very expensive . The coastline is truly fabulous with rocky lava surrounding Garachico's coastline We were looking forward to swimming in the natural pools which were closed due to the rough sea waters. This was understandable, but there was no reason for the Lido pool to be closed as well . The natural pools and Lido are open for 3 months from July to September

One of the most authentic villages in Tenerife, with real local inhabitants, some traditional celebrations that you can witness in the streets.
Most of the small streets are pedestrian or with very few cars.
It also has a small and nice beach in the village.
The local people are very friendly.
The temperature is more mild than on the Southern coast of the island.
The Gara hotel is in an impressive location overlooking a busy road that runs along the promenade. There is a spacious patio that gives residents a panoramic view of the sea and a smaller "solarium" on top of the building. The hotel itself has a large courtyard adorned with rural memorabilia where breakfast is served plus a quiet lounge area. The decor in the hotel's common areas is very nice with polished wooden stairs. First impressions are good.
It is a large and well equipped apartment. Everything needed was provided and everything was newish and in good working order. There is an automatic washing machine but we didn’t use it . It is in an outstanding location in a very beautiful little seaside town (by a league the prettiest town in Tenerife that we saw) plus it has a balcony looking straight at the ocean where the sun sets.
More than a hotel, it is an experience to stay in one of the old historic mansions, located on the central square of Garachico. Rooms are personalized, with good basic comfort. The restaurant and the settings are outstanding. Very quiet during the nighttime !
The staff was SO friendly: everyone was really kind and helpful and made us feel at home. The hotel is also beautiful and the atmosphere is really relaxing.
