Hotel is located in small village, for nice evening walks, drinks or foods, but for the entertnaiment you have to have a car and drive elsewhere. Hotel overall was very nice and quiet, located in nice street, with amazing view on hills from the pool area. Our room was large, just like our bathroom!

the house is on a mountain near to fornalutx, and has a beautiful terrasse with a lovely view down the hill. We more often used the beautifull chimney in the living room, because the weather was very cold. Everything we needed was in the house. the owner and the caretaker were both very helpful und kind.

Good house, great view and all basics for cooking already there. We spent 5 relaxing days. Only difficulty is the last bit of road leading to the house. But it worked with a relatively large car. We just changed our parking spot to a place along the road after the second day. Our host was very welcoming and the water from the spring is a great alternative to buying plastic bottles. Can recommend and would stay again.

Breathtaking view, atmospheric historical house. Quiet, nice and peaceful village. Very good location to spent the hoildays in the mountain and it's very good that there is a parking near it!
This family-run hotel is set right next to the sea in Port de Sóller, Mallorca. All of the rooms include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and most have a private balcony with views of the sea or...

Great location in beautiful Port de Soller. My husband and I have been visiting for nearly 20 years and this is the first time at Hotel Miramar.
The room had a fantastic view over the marina and good sized balcony. The room was basic but clean and fantastic location.
We had one clean missed and the previous day had only been left 1 towel so late at night went to reception and managed (eventually) to get clean towels for the following morning.
Reception staff could have been a bit more attentive greeting you coming and going but perhaps I am comparing it to experiences other hotels we have stayed in the area.
We will definitely be back!
This seafront hotel with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool offers spacious, air-conditioned rooms. The Sóller tramway to Sóller and Palma stops just outside the hotel.

Well located with very good facilities. Staff were helpful, especially with my mother in law who has mobility issues.
This stylish hotel is located in Soller’s main square. Set in an early 20th century building, it features garden, terrace and elegant rooms with scenic village or garden views.

Perfectly positioned in Soller centre. The property is small but tastefully finished and the rooms were adequately sized and nicely finished.

During winter, Fornalutx is still visited by many tourists for hiking in the nearby mountains. However, there are only two restaurants open during December and you need to make reservations (by phone) for the one in the city center if you want to go there. I can highly recommend them though!
Do not trust Google for telling you opening times of anything in Mallorca. Google is generally unaware of opening times and more often than not we found a closed door.

A lovely village but busier than any of our previous 12 stays. Good choice of restaurants and nice tourist shops. House rentals have become much more expensive. Much more regular bus from local areas such as Soller and the Port mean more day trippers and direct flights from the USA mean more diverse travellers coming.

Absolutely LOVED Fornalutx, beautiful little village with amazing restaurants and Forn de Barri is without a doubt the best bakery I've ever been to. The village is very close to Sóller and Port de Sóller which are two really nice areas. A bit of a trek if you want to go down to Palma or anywhere that side of the island. We stayed in Fornalutx for an entire week and rented a car to drive everywhere, but if I were to do it again I would probably only stay in the village for a couple of days and then stay in somewhere like Palma.

This is the fifth time we have stayed in Fornalutz, so I think you can tell we like it. It's a lovely village with beautiful views over Soller and the Tramunta mountains. There's an excellent village shop, a bakery and several decent cafe's and restaurants. Lots of nice walking in the area.

It is rated one of the prettiest villages in Mallorca and I concur completely. The mountain setting is stunning. The restaurants were very good. For a special treat try the Molon restaurant. We were there during the colourful annual festival which although mainly for the locals and children it still had enough of interest for us tourist like traditional Mallorcan dancing. We had a car but the bus service to Soller was every hour. There were several good walks starting from the village.
If I went again I would avoid the final night of the festval.

This place has won the "prettiest village in Spain" award in the past and it's easy to see why. Set in a wooded valley surrounded by towering mountains, every tiny street is lined with terracotta pots crammed with plants and flowers. The small square in the centre has several good bars giving the village a lively atmosphere and there are at least 8 very good restaurants to choose from.
This was a really pretty and quaint little property in the beautiful village of Fornalutx. Bea is the main person I communicated with and she was so helpful when it came to checking in, finding parking, and even offered to put a little breakfast together for us when we checked out at 3AM to go to the airport. It's also a beautiful building, with incredible charm and character, an authentic Spanish feel. There was also air conditioning that worked very well in the room which made it great for those really warm days.
It was absolutely perfect. Fornalutx is beautiful & the relaxed & very informal atmosphere of the hotel, its location was ideal ~ minutes from the main square, the small but perfect pool with views of the mountains, the shade provided by the olive tree. The air conditioned rooms were essential & the use of the communal kitchen made it all so easy. Toni was friendly, welcoming, caring & very helpful, taking time to book a taxi for us down to Port de Soller. We loved our stay.
The location and terrace out the back is fantastic. It's amidst orange groves and the smell is amazing. Such a relaxing place. The kids loved the pool (we live by and swim in the North Sea and it was about the same temperature in April but that's fine for us).
The house is large, spread over 2 floors and the downstairs is cool.
It's a 15min walk to Fornalutx which has a great array of restaurants and a little grocery shop. Overall we had a great time thanks!
It was easy to arrange and to meet with the manager of the property to pick up the keys. She was also quick to respond when we had flooding in the property during a particularly bad downpour.
The property was spotlessly clean. It is well located for walking to the restuarants and bars in Fornalutx, taking the train from Soller to Palma and for general sight seeing in Majorca.
The views from the upstairs patio are beautiful.
Casa Salva was just as beautiful as the pictures, if not better. The view was a dream, I didn't want to leave. The house is simple but cozy and everything you need is there. The village Fornalutx is the most beautiful village in Mallorca with great cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. We walked downhill for dinner every night which only takes 5 minutes.
The place itself and surroundings are stunning. We could not have asked for a better stay! The town of Fornalutx is extremely charming, and only a short walking distance from the hotel. A bunch of restaurants, bakeries and a nice bar on the town square.
The staff was extremely friendly and personable, even upgrading our room for our anniversary. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay in Fornalutx. The view was amazing and the property is stunning. We can’t wait to come back soon!
Staff was very friendly! The owner was frequently present and gave great background information about this most beautiful place in Spain. Will stay here again in Fornalutx. Don't miss early morning walks around city and through the farms to Soller.
The most beautiful boutique hotel with spectacular views of the mountains. We loved the made to order breakfasts and chilling out on the terraces.Polina and her team ensure you will have an amazing stay.....everything is so calm and relaxed.
Fornalutx was an amazing location and the property was a minute from the main square. Beautiful views which the terrace overlooked and the property was spacious, nicely decorated and equipped and was the perfect base for the holiday.
This hotel is a retreat in the mountains where you can find tranquility. It’s away from the more populated tourist areas but has its own little town 5 minute walk away with great restaurants.
