The staff here are really helpful and friendly. I used this place as a base before doing the Carros de Foc hike. I was able to leave a bag with them until I returned, and the parking outside the hotel was really handy. The breakfast is really good too! Would return. :)

There was a kitchen adjacent to the room so it made cooking easy. The location right beside the river and near the park, was just perfect. Staff so friendly and helpful

High up in the mountains we decided to book bed, breakfast and evening meal. We were out of season for skiing so there weren't many other guests. Nevertheless, the food was excellent with plenty of choices offered. We had a little trouble with the language at first but a young lady arrived who spoke good English and she remained available throughout our stay. We were evening offered use of a garage for our motorbikes.

Lovely quiet location. Plenty of parking. Reception spoke English. Very comfortable bed, nice size bathroom with a hot shower. Good location to access the National Park.
A small and quiet town, with an amazing view. The residents and workers are all very kind and eager to help. The town has an information center with charming, English-speaking employees who help you plan your trips from the town.

Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit...
Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit the Natural Park. Plenty of information about hiking routes to do there in the tourist information office. Good services in the village: small supermarket with all the basic goods you might need. Some good restaurants from a burger place, a pizza place and others... Taxi services to go up the park from the centre of the village. There is also a good bakery and a farmacy across the street from it. Basically, Espot covers all your basics.

We used Espot as a base to snowshoe in the adjacent National Park. This is a small, high-mountain village, which is very busy in the summer months, and in the ski-season, but can be very quiet at other times. There are a sizeable number of self -catering apartments and about four mid-size hotels in the village, as well as a pharmacy, outdoor shop and small bakery. There are two small grocery shops, and several small restaurants. It is along drive to the village from other parts of Spain, or over the pass from Vielha, but the scenery is stunning. It is an outdoorsy-place, so there's not much to do if you don't walk or ski!

Great place to stay if you are planning hiking in the national park around. We also did some rafting which was amazing.
There are some nice resturants there. Look for Al Dente - the place offers great pizzas, and self made pasta filled with all kinds things.
If you are planning for a long stay - better find a large supermarket on your way. The one in Espot is pretty small.

What an absolutely beautiful place.
What an absolutely beautiful place. Worth the long, winding drive. Restaurants are cheap and delicious. The park is a 10-minute drive away and worth every second you can be there. I would've liked to stay longer and do more of the hikes! It was pretty warm during our stay but I hear that's a bit unusual. I would love to go back!
The staff was exceptional. Super friendly and always happy to help. Don't forget to ask then recommendations where to eat, they know the best places.
Additionally, we really liked the garden, it's one of the best places in Espot to sit down and zip from a well desereved drink after a rewarding hike as it's in the sun (most of the town's terraces don't have sun).
staff were really nice and helpful! very comfortable rooms with great small balconies. the view is amazing, the sound of water from the nearby stream is wonderful. located right in the center of Espot, near some restaurants, a minimarket and the national park visitor center. had a nice breakfast at the wonderful garden.
This is the second time we visited. The hotel is in a great location, with spacious and well equipped rooms in good condition. T
he best thing though is the hospitality. We felt really welcome here and for sure we will return.

Bit aged but very well-maintained hotel in Espot. Good location to visit Sant Maurici national park. The room was sparkling clean and spacious enough, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was tasty with a good choice of local food. Big parking opposite the hotel is free for hotel guests.
This apartment in Espot is in a perfect location for exploring the nearby National Park. You can easily walk to the park headquarters and the place where the taxis leave to go up to the park. The apartment was very comfortable and although, small provided everything you need.

Great place to stay, the river is right by the hotel, wonderful atmosphere and sparkling clean. Most of the rooms are beautifuly renovated. The staff is cool and very kind. Overall a great place to stay in Espot.
The staff was very polite , friendly and helpful. Perfect location for hiking day trips in the national park. The hotel staff can recommend different hiking routes or help organizing excursions like rafting.
Stayed overnight after we completed the Carros de Foc. Very welcome beds and shower! Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful.
We enjoyed that the hotel owner proudly presented all the delicious regional specialities on the breakfast buffet. What al lovely mountain view from the room we had.
