The Old Town was great to wander around and get lost.
The Old Town was great to wander around and get lost. The Mezquita/Cathedral is incredible and must be visited to believe. There was enough to see for a 3 day stay. The city can get very busy however.
It is worth seeking out restaurants with a more local feel to immerse yourself in the full Cordoba experience.

The beautiful Mosque is a must to visit.
The beautiful Mosque is a must to visit. Cordoba is a beautiful city with many historic sites to visit. there is a main square where there are fountains and a lovely atmosphere. The Roman bridge is a sight to see, especially at night when it is lit up. there are many places to eat and we chose the small tapas bars that you can find along the tiny back streets,

Cordoba is a lovely historic city to visit with plenty to see and visit. We stayed in a hotel in the centre of the city which meant all the sites were within walking distance. The city centre streets are quite narrow and other than arriving/leaving our hotel by car they are best avoided. The main tourist attractions tended to be quieter in the mornings than the afternoons. There are numerous restaurants which serve a variety of foods but the tapas restaurants we visited were excellent and good value for money.
Good tapas - Bodegas Mezquita (3 in centre). Tried two, Cespedes and Corregidor, excellent.

Córdoba is a charming city with a lively atmosphere,...
Córdoba is a charming city with a lively atmosphere, especially during summer nights. I wouldn't recommend planning a long stay. 4 days should be enough to explore the city, after which you can visit other nearby destinations.
Keep in mind that if you have an early train to catch, finding a taxi can be quite difficult, especially during the summer based on my experience.
Loved the location down a little side street but very close to lovely squares and sights of Cordoba. Clean room and friendly staff. Pretty patio in entrance and on roof. We like that the hotel is family-run and Rafa and front desk drew really informative map for us for our stay. The restaurant next door to the hotel was one of the best meals we had on our holiday around Spain.
The hotel is perfect for visiting all the important Cordoba attractions. It is located across from the Mezquita and has a private parking which is very important because the parking places in the old town are limited.
I recommend booking a room with parking.
Breakfast is varied and very good.
The bathroom is very well equipped.
Absolutely the best breakfast that we had in all of Spain! Lisa and Jose are the owners and are devoted to making you feel at home. Each item in the menu is locally sourced except for the coffee which is outstanding!
Great location in the old town with parking just a short walk away. Old buildings cleverly combined to make an interesting and slightly quirky hotel. We have been twice and will go again
Amazing apartment and beautiful patio. Good location close to everything. Teresa, the manager, was very helpful and full of positive energy. Best stay in Spain!
