We liked the balcony overlooking the beach. The staff were very helpful. The gentleman at reception José Maria was extra helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless and the small fridge came in handy. There was no kettle but we were allowed boiling water for our flask.
Panoramic sea views and a free WiFi zone are offered at El Refugio, set just 200 metres from Luaña Beach. Many rooms have a balcony with views over the cliffs and sea.

Yolanda was very kind and let us in earlier when they were finished cleaning. The place was very well maintained and cleaned with care. We see her eye for detail and really appreciate that! The kitchen is well equipped. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it was great to have a musquito net in front of the window. The place is located next to the main road but very calm. There is a very nice bakery next door and kiosk with most of the basics for a decent dinner. The bus stop is also nearby. It is only a 10 min walk (1km) to the beach. There were a lot of information folders to help explore the area.
La Pensión Bella Vista is just 200 metres from Cóbreces Beach. Set in gardens, it has a terrace and a lounge looking onto the sea. Each pleasant room at La Pensión Bella Vista looks onto the gardens.

The location was beautiful and peaceful. There’s a beautiful beach and restaurants a short walk away. It was simple, clean and comfortable. The hosts we’re really friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was great value at €3.50 per person and it was simple but tasty.
We would definitely return!!

Since places to eat were closed, the owner fixed a nice plate of food for us. Beautiful outdoor area.

Beautiful hotel, one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed, such a gorgeous place & attention to detail. Lovely pool & garden, only thing was the jacuzzi not really warm enough but don’t know if that’s the English who like it hot!

The team were great - friendly, helpful and welcoming.
It was right off of the Camino entering into Cobreces, a perfect location for the weary traveler! the hosts were so accommodating and kind! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the back yard and patio is perfect for relaxing, with a stunning view! The breakfast is also above average. most places only give toast and coffee, but this place gave orange juice, yoghurt, and croissants as well. All these little things add up to a great stay!
absolutely best place to stay! The hotel located just at the ocean and it’s unbelievable to open windows and see the waves landing at the seashore. Room itself was small but clean and charming, all facilities were there. it was run by lovely couple really taking care of the guests. morning coffee with tostada seemed like from grandmas home. the best accommodation
The hotel is located on the beach, it has a magnificent view and the connected restaurant has amazing seafood. Everything was great, everyone very helpful and patient with us - the only people not speaking Spanish. Be sure to get a room with beach view. There even was a mini fridge in our room.
Plentiful and fresh breakfast hospitable staff who were family and proud of their hotel. Evening meals traditional and good. Maybe could extend their menu a little but late night chips requested by me were provided with a smile! Altogether a lovely visit and bonus spectacular sunsets!
Good location, staff able to answer all questions, good hotel and well maintained. Breakfast was good and certainly worth the money. Only small issue was that restaurant was not open in the evening for food but there is a restaurant down at the beach which is very good
The room with the sea view was really amazing. You have a feeling like waking up directly on the beach.
The room is small but cosy.
Breakfast was no highlight but enough.
We can definitly recomand the hotel because of the incomparable location.
Upgraded room to seaview and balcony, lovely family hotel with great views on beach. Very good restaurant attached. Good motorbike onsite parking. Great surfing beach. Good choice for breakfast. Staff made an effort to understand English.
It was conveniently on the Camino del Norte. Like a lot of hotels at this time of year it was quiet but that's what's needed when resting after a days walking.
