Fantastic beautiful city with plenty of restaurants and bars...
Fantastic beautiful city with plenty of restaurants and bars. The shopping is really good here.
We stay in ciutadella and catch the buses to the beach ( most car parks at the beaches fill up by 8am so it’s easier to go by bus) and then at night everything is on our doorstep.
It’s not rowdy but it’s buzzing and plenty going off.

It's the most beautiful place in Minorca (not counting the beaches). There are a lot of restaurants and little shops to spend the day in. My favourite coffee shop is right in front of the cathedral, Catedral Café, amazing coffee and treats. For dinner, you can go to any restaurant at the port or at Plaça Nova.

It's a great place to visit on foot, parking is a bit tricky unless you park outside of the town and walk in. There are lots of places to eat, surprisingly some of the restaurants by the marina aren't expensive. Lots of things to see and shops to browse. A lovely place to visit.

The hotel was in a great location by the inlet and close to the sea. The promenade went by the hotel and was great for a walk in the morning and afternoon. There was a local shop just round the corner which was very useful and had very friendly and helpful staff. There were local bars and restaurants just a short walk away. The town itself was a 25 minute walk away. The facilities of the hotel were excellent, breakfast was particularly good. All the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly.

We loved Ciutadella.
We loved Ciutadella. It's a beautiful historic town, full of elegant buildings, outdoor cafes and restaurants, nice shops, easy to get around. It has an interesting culture, and an authentic, lively atmosphere. It's also just a short drive from some beautiful, more remote beaches on the north coast, such as Cala d'Algaiarens and Cala Pilar.

We visited Ciutadella in an off season, which meant a calm city with little amount of tourists. Since it was still winter season many restaurants were not open unfortunately and the water temperature was a bit cold. Overall it is a nice little city to spend a week and rest.
Beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped with everything you need including snorkels and parasol for the beach! Fernando was very friendly and always available to help. The hotel is just a short walk from the centre and we loved that we received a document to our phone which detailed all the best bars, restaurants and beaches in Menorca ! Our neighbours upstairs were very loud walking around all the time but this is not a fault of the hotel.
S'Enclova is a beautiful small boutique hotel. The rooms have a feeling of calm and tranquility. Crisp white bed linen and soft white towels welcomed us every night. The room was always immaculately clean.
The host Alvaro couldn't do enough for us and was on the end of the phone if we needed anything. Perfectly situated down a quiet pretty street a stones throw away from the atmospheric town of Ciutadella.
Amazing stay at Hotel Rural! The place, the room, the view, the staff .... Everything was more than perfect. On top of that one of the best restaurant of Menorca is located in the hotel. Thanks again!
