We only stayed hear to be near our Daughter who has a property near by, however we did have breakfast on a few occasions and plenty of coffee and found the quality and service very good.

A clean, modern, attractive and comfortable apartment. The location was ideal for walking into town, food shopping, easy on-street parking or driving out to the countryside. The kitchen facilities and Wi-Fi ñ were very good too.
Mas Fontanelles is a restored hotel, set in the beautiful mountains near the Font Roja Natural Park. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a traditional restaurant that offers homemade meals.

Friendliness of Isabel the owner, but her husband was not so friendly. They did make us a snack when we arrived late but charged us 42€ which included a bottle of wine. It was a very quiet location which we liked. Breakfast was very poor and the coffee rank. We will be sending in an official complaint once we have all the photos. Time switches and I bumped my head when the time switch did not give us enough time to get into the room. We must have had the worst room in the hotel. The bathroom was disgusting and the headboard was a piece of natural on the wall behind the bed. For £97 a night I expected much more than this. Photos to follow.

Very good value. room was comfortable and shower was powerful and spacious. All with aircon. Staff were friendly and parking was free. Location is good if you are working in the area and only a 20 minute walk to the centre.

Castalla is an interesting place to visit, the castle is beautiful also the surroundings, mountains, bike routes, mountaineering....and there are a lot of extraordinary places to eat. It is near to Alicante city too just 30 kilometres to the beach.

Dinner, supposedly available with no mentioned limitations, amounted to just 2 choices, neither for myself brilliant nor adequate after 7 hours on the road ..... that was unfortunate! Good coffee on demand. Easily accessible and just, only just, decently signposted IF you have quick reflxes and sharp eyes!
Well equipped kitchen for self use. Grounds and views oustanding. The hotel steeped in historical mystical charm. Perfect setting to relax. An absolutely delightfully authentic old building, exactly what I would have hoped for in terms of location, decor, room and facilities. The grounds were amazingly well maintained and set out. Perfect accomodation and location for me. Very Spanish, all guests other than me nationals, which was for me a very good sign, perhaps not for everyone, but everything I was looking for.
It was a pleasure to stay at Artmonia. The hotel is very well decorated, beautiful, very nice (salty) pool, great breakfast and the atmosphere was fantastic - guests interacting, nice services from all staff and they were all pet lovers, making our dog special (even got some ham to eat)... Gotta put a thumbs up also for the "draft tinto de verano" and cold "jarras" of beer and the gentle bar staff!
character hotel mainly used for weekend weddings so very quiet. easy automated access but owner & all staff very friendly & helpful with exceptional internet. kitchen available, as no restaurant open. I stayed to cycle all the spectacular sierras & personally enjoyed the tranquil setting & location. billiard tables on site, apparently used by the champions of spain..
The location was rural and very quiet, about 5 kilometers from the actual town of Caseta, Everyday I rode my bike into town and back to the hotel. The room had shutters so it was dark and easy to sleep at night. It was very clean and rustic.
