We had stayed here a few times, but unknown to us the owner had acquired a 2nd site close by, which we were booked into. We assumed it was the same site and somehow gained entry to the cabin, we settled in, about 2 hours later the owner arrived with family informing us we had come to the wrong site. They noticed we had settled in and from hereonin they were excellent, they went away no fuss to return with clean linen and towels and were more apologetic, when it was our error. We had a few laughs, but what brilliant hosts.

Great little place to stay during a long drive. Super friendly staff even in the middle of the night - they were accommodating, room was lovely, bed was huge and comfortable. Great price.

The welcome we received from Alphonso at reception was exceptional. If the rest of the stay matched his enthusiasm and professionalism the whole rating would be superb and above.
The hotel was everything we thought it would be. Typically Spanish, original and very comfortable. The dinner was delicious and the fact we could order what we wanted for breakfast was great. The bacon and eggs, freshly cooked, were better than any I've had in the UK. Would love to visit again but don't think we will be in that area of Spain again. A super place!
The rooms and public spaces were clean and the staff welcoming. The receptionist opened the gate to the inner courtyard for us to park our motorbikes securely overnight. Dinner in the restaurant was superb and fabulous value for money. The hotel itself is quirky but lovely with some nice decor and features.
Hotel has lots of character, lovely rooms and seating areas. Staff were excellent so helpful and friendly they create a wonderful atmosphere for visitors. Food was great, lovely setting for dinner. Breakfast could be better need to offer more options. We will be back. One not to miss if you are in the area.
if it wasn’t for Booking.com I would never had know about this place but first class hotel. food is rustic but nice. hotel is spotless and staff are great. despite the fact I don’t speak Spanish . I was travelling with my dog and there was no issue. Would definitely return here.
clean, comfortable, friendly stuff that speak english (more or less), dinner closes at 11 pm, interesting interior; I liked various pictures on the walls of the hotel and the restaurant; we get to learn about amphoras and ancient way of storing wine.
