The room we were given was huge with an enormous double bed. The bathroom was large with a great shower and the whole place was extremely clean. The restaurant served beautiful food in stunning surroundings and the library is to die for.
Such high quality acconodation at this price is difficult to find elsewhere
We didn’t use the spa facilities as we were only there for one night but we did look in and found it really good

Lovely family run place and in a really peaceful location. The walk into the town was a welcome bonus and gave us the opportunity to stretch our legs after a day on the motorbikes and then burn off some of the beers and food on the way back!

The host Jose was extremely friendly, and the handover was very smooth. The house is located directly at the main road, with one of the two bedrooms on the back side facing the river. The apartment is pretty spacious for three people, and the kitchen was well-equipped including some groceries for breakfast. Parking directly next to the house.

Very smart and comfortable room in a central location. Very comfortable bed, quiet at night, good shower. Very clean. Cangas is a bustling place with some lovely areas and plenty of good eateries
Great home base to discover Asturias. Or you can just stay at the place and relax since it has all it needs to do so. Cangas is one of the largest towns inland and has all services. The options for nature trips, hiking, etc are endless.

A classic corner of an authentic Asturia. The town itself is nothing really special although the old part has character with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The surrounding countryside is fantastic with plenty to do from walking to visiting the nearby National Park.

We loved the natural beauty of the area and the character and history of the parador. Rooms are very large and decorated in monastic style. Bathroom is modern. Restaurant serves authentic Asturian dishes. The old library and courtyards are a must see.
Cangas del Narcea is just 2 KMs and is a fascinating town to walk around and dine in.
Staff are most helpful. The meditative music they play is so lovely.
All in all, one of the best stays in our trans-Iberian road trip.
The hotel and it's history were amazing. The sheer size of the monastery and the rooms that the hotel have left as original were great. In the covered parking area there are archaeological remains of the original building which was interesting.
We had a mix up with our dinner order but the hotel were really good at sorting this out and they gave us our meal at no extra charge.
It was nice to see a hotel making an effort with their customers.

This parador is of exceptional quality and is a historic building. Staffw ere helpful and the room was vast with fantasic bathroom. The value is great and I will recomment this hotel to others.
