We had Room 201 on the front of the hotel.
Located in an elevated position this hotel has breathtaking views of Calella de Palafrugell, the cove and the seascape beyond. We were also overlooking the extensive garden and pool area, busy during the day and quiet at night. There were plenty of cabanas, (free of charge), and sun beds around the pool as well as tables and chairs amongst the trees, where you could sit and enjoy a drink, coffee or iced cream from the pool bar whilst enjoying some respite from the sun, if required.
The room was quite big with a good sized balcony that could accommodate 4 people. It was immaculately clean, freshly decorated and well appointed with crisp white bed linen, plenty of clothes hanging / shelf storage space, a small flat screen TV, armchair, high quality black out curtains, air conditioning and double patio doors opening onto the balcony.
There was an easily controllable thermostatic shower in the bath and it looked brand new. It could do with a bath mat though as it was a little slippery.
The hotel reception area was immaculate with light coloured upholstered settees and chairs, coffee tables and very tasteful art on the walls.
The restaurant served hot and cold breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ate breakfast each morning and the selection was very good, including cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans and sausage.
We also had 2 evening meals which again was very good. Also, they were very good value for money though.
The staff were all friendly, helpful and engaging, particularly Marina.
We really enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable time here and although the walk to the town, promenade and restaurants is quite steep, takes 10 minutes, and is mentioned in a number of the reviews, we would definitely go back.
Plenty of free Parking also.

A really charming if small resort with good restaurants but limited other shops and facilities. Swimming (but steep drop off not great for young children etc)and walks on the coastal path both very enjoyable. Seemed just a little cooler temperature wise than other nearby resorts.

Calella de Palafrugell is a stunning, peaceful safe place to holiday at any time of year. Off season there isn't much in the way of entertainment which may not suit those seeking a lively nightlife.

Great area, not very touristy which we liked, lovey beaches. Coastal walk to LLafranc (& in other direction!) plenty of restaurants, couple of supermarkets. Free parking in car parks after September 16th .
Noticed a tourist bus ( Julivia) that comes into the area ( not sure of route or timings!) & believe you can also get a bus to Palamós.
You could walk to Palafrugell but we had car and used large supermarket there.

Great little village with lots of beaches in the town and a short walk around the coast in either direction that are definitely worth going to just for the walks. Great food options throughout the town - we really enjoyed La Blava and Tragamar but may others to choose from too.

Most beautiful place on the Costa Brava, with many wonderful restaurants and supermarkets with local fresh fish every day! Wonderful coastal walks, with many places to stop and enjoy the view, and a cold beer, or two!

We enjoyed walking along the sea front especially the coastal walk to Llafranc although it involves steep paths and steps. The one way circulation system is easy to drive and walk although may be difficult for persons with mobility problems. Eat at restaurants frequented by locals is my recommendation as we had a bad experience at a restaurant high up overlooking the bay. Our visit was at the end of the season and some restaurants closed from October 2nd.

A very good choice provided for the buffet breakfast.
The setting for the hotel was superb, overlooking the bay.
We appreciated the secure and free car parking provided.
The bar next to the hotel was welcome and it provided tapas as well as drinks.
This is our third time staying at Port Bo. It’s a lovely hotel with great rooms and balconies, an amazing breakfast and a perfect setting just a short stroll from the seafront. Highly recommend :)
pool was excellent, breakfast was first class , The staff couldn't be more helpful
and location was really good for walking around the area. The food in the hotel was of a very high standard.
