Burgos is a lively bustling small city. Lots of shops to meet you needs and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Using google maps was sometimes frustrating because you sometimes loose internet/wifi connection, I think this is probably due to the crowdedness of the buildings (set very close together). The people were kind, helpful, and attentive. It was easy to find and get onto the Camino de Santiago.

Without any advance tourist information, we struggled to find anywhere to visit or a reasonable selection of restaurants. In the end, because of the cold temperatures, we just visited a local bar and enjoyed a drink with tapas.

Burgos was a great place, some historical Churches, the vibe of the city was great. Had to get our head around the restaurant opening and closing times, but once we knew it was alright. Yes I would recommend this city to friends.

Found a lovely place to eat Pinchos (tapas) very nice and not far from the hotel. The city is beautiful with so many buildings of architectural interest. Only staying one night whilst travelling through Spain was not enough time to appreciate everything the hotel had to offer.
I stayed in this hotel in December when the weather outside was cold. The room was very warm, the heating and the shower were working very well, and the room was clean. The guys at the reception were very nice and friendly. They also speak English :-). There is little bar at the hotel where you can eat tortilla, pintxos, or something sweet. And the coffee was very nice :-). The hotel is very close to the beautiful promenade along the river. I will certainly return to this hotel if I back to Burgos.
We had stayed at the hotel a couple of years ago and it seemed to have improved in that time. We were given an upgrade to a better standard room, which was a bonus. It is very easy to find, especially from the north and is located fairly close to the city centre in a pleasant location on the river. It has an excellent bar/restaurant attached which has great food/drink which is reasonably priced. Very popular with locals which is always a good sign. Now our 'go to' place when visiting Burgos.
This was a last minute booking due to being let down by a previous accomodation in Burgos. When I turned up here the lovely receptionist kindly offered me to stay in an apartment 50m away instead of hotel as there was as big party in hotel. I kindly accepted and apartment was very quiet and comfortable and receptionist me down to it and showed me around etc. nil complaints
We've stayed here before and found the hotel in an excellent location near the motorway, with plenty of free parking outside. However, no shade for the car which is a shame. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner in the dining room was excellent and not too expensive and breakfast was very good.
Big hotel near the centre of Burgos, short walk into town where there are lots of restaurants. Hotel was very clean with a lots of facilities, gym, swimming pool etc, Breakfast was very good with a huge choice. Reception not smiling as we would normally expect, but professional and organised.
Best hotel luxury comfortable beautiful sincerely kind and helpful staff. Side of the highway Spanish roadtrip classic! Burgos has nice cathedrals and monasteries to visit but the Landa is worth it alone. Impossible to choose from all the delicious food on the menu … baked goods are perfect.
The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel was in the heart.of Old Town & a few minute walk to the Burgos Cathedral. The front desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was nice as well. I would definitely stay here again.
A comfy and well-appointed room in a hotel conveniently located at some 10-minute bus rude / 30-minute walking distance from the old town. The staff is amazing and always there to help you out. A really good value for the money, highly recommended for short stays!
We stayed 2 nights here in Burgos to rest and sightsee. Hotel Agora was very good for this purpose. Great breakfast. Great shower. We were there on a Thursday and Friday night the the streets were full of people enjoying themselves. Really cool.
Wonderful location facing the cathedral. Easy walk to all sites and restaurants. Very good parking garage, however a long set of steps to carry luggage up to the street level and then down more stairs to access the hotel entrance.
We only had a short stay in Burgos and the hotel is perfectly located for exploring the cathedral and Old Town. The building itself is beautiful. Our room was huge, with all the comforts you would expect.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Burgos. We had a wonderful breakfast in the hotel restaurant overlooking magnificent Burgos cathedral.
