Good location for exploring Valencia region. At no extra cost was able to use the private secure carpark. Large clean rooms with plenty of space and comfortable king-size bed was nice. No dining area but, Located within in a small residential complex which had nice centre which was walkable with a selection of places to eat.

As Brits, we expected the hostal to be of similar quality as a hostal in UK ... ie not as good quality as an hotel. We have now been informed that the exact opposite is the case here in Spain ... perhaps the booking sites should mention that in their English sites.
The only improvement we could suggest for the room would be another chair and a desk or table.

We loved the setting of the resort, it is covered in palm trees to provide enough shade and the two pools were perfect for our two children. The other facilities such as a tennis court, basketball, pool, table, and table tennis were great for us as a family, not to mention the cute rabbits roaming the place. We had a great experience ordering a homemade traditional paella by the swimming pool, all coordinated by the staff with a simple request. So good, we did it twice. It was cooked by a lady down the road, it was simply the best meal we had on holiday and highly recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly, smiley and always making sure we were enjoying ourselves and ready to jump on any problem that needed fixing. Two supermarkets opposite were extremely useful too. The beds were very comfortable and having freshly baked baguettes from the local bakery every morning was a really nice touch. It also looks beautiful at night and the villas are spacious to relax outside. Great place, with great people.

I'll leave just a description that might be helpful to others. This accommodation is on the first floor of a family house in a residential neighbourhood. Bathroom on the same floor. Run by a french couple (PACA maybe?) who live on the ground floor. Swimming pool outside (did not try it) and parking space with their cars.
I assume they only ever have one booking at a time - the room is the former bedroom of one of their children.

Beautiful and cozy hotel giving a home and family feeling. Julio and staff are excellent. One can’t miss breakfast … it is beautiful. The living room area is very comfortable and the locations is excellent to have a nice walk in nature.

Very Spanish village . Sociable inhabitants. Beautiful 16century castle, wall etc. Good local bus connections. Hotel Rioja has excellent restaurant, and a good selection of restaurants, including 2 Chinese, in Lliria, 1km down the road.
