I have been to the Ambassador Hotel 6 to 7 times now but the big disappointment this time was the food. Although there was nothing really wrong with it I found it wasn't of the same quality pre Hotel renovation. It is still 'a value for money hotel' but in my opinion it was one of the best hotels in Benidorm for the food we really loved it. I don't want to put anybody off when reading this because there wasn't anything wrong with the food,
It just wasn't as good as it has been in the past - great shame.

I visit regularly but hardly ever venture out of the old town area. My trips are usually for 3 or for 4 nights and rarely include a weekend however this particular trip was very short at 2 nights only.
Benidorm has literally something for everyone, My trips certainnly would not suit some people.likewise I do not get involved in activities that many visit the resort for.
If you are undecided and have never visited please do not be swayed by reviews, research a little and choose the part of town and the accomodation that suit your own needs and you will not be dissapointed.
please do not worry about visiting alone, If you have never holidyed as a sole traveller then it is an ideal destination to start with.
What is true for every demographic is its accesability from the UK with many flights even from regional airports keeping the price of getting there competative.

Benidorm Old Town is great. Lots to see and do.
Benidorm Old Town is great. Lots to see and do. Old Town is away from the stag n hens, although you don't see much of that anymore. Old Town is busy with a good vibe. The beach is clean and beds are only €6 for the day. The sea is clear although the fish can occasionally nip. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Benidorm has something for everyone.
Benidorm has something for everyone. It’s not a place I would have ever personally chosen to have gone. I visited with a group of friends and all my prejudices about Benidorm were blown away. I have now just returned home after my 6th visit in 5 years and know that I will definitely visit again. I think I may have caught “The Beni Bug”

very entertaining.
very entertaining. I love that everywhere in Benidorm you can get the best chicken tikka kebabs that use real pieces of chicken and the potion size is very big and not expensive. Its much better than the donner kebab meat that you get in most towns which isnt great.

We love the diffrent sides of benidorm,
Oldtown quite relaxed , but busy lots of spainsh walking ,shops
Mid town a bit more for younger people 70 and under but still shops bars food just a bit louder than oldtown,
Then heres Newtown for the party animals

There's some amazing karaoke bars, show bars,
British bars, we love uncle peds, Pablo bloom is great, beers cheap,
We visit bendiorm at least twice a year,
We're 57 and really love it there were planning on a mid town trip with family and grandchildren in October, beaches are great we like oldtown beach the best, quieter the futher you go the quieter it gets, still bars shops food opposite the beach
Tram to so many diffrent areas and so cheap,
Alicante lovely castle, altea lovely, denia beautiful
Something for everyone young and old,
Do not knock benidirm if you've never been,
We recommend mid town to stay, we had an appartment Eden Park was fabulous, definitely use it again close to both oldtown and Newtown
It is a lively place benidorm but then you stay where you find suits you, we were oldtown people for years but now found midtown is where we tend to stay , enjoy we do
Also we love to walk there's to hills either side one end if old town one end of Newtown
Newtown has a criss at the top we love the walk to the top
And oldtown has a viewing platform and small church at the top again lovely views from both

Benidorm is making great efforts to shake off its trippy image and become a little more up market and Spanish. It has an enforced very low speed limit for traffic and therefore an easy place for pedestrians to roam.
Streets are clean with some greenery to improve the general ambience.
The beaches are clean and bars and restaurants everywhere which cater for all tastes and prices. Plenty of nightlife and something for all ages.
"Staying at Irati Benidorm Old Town.
Hotel was an absolute delight! From the charming atmosphere of the old town to the impeccable service, every moment was memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the rooms were both elegant and cozy. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to the beach and countless restaurants. We'll definitely be returning to this hidden gem in the heart of Benidorm!"
Great little hotel in the old town. Everyone working here is really nice and the location is perfect for shopping and the beach. Its also very close to the boats if you want a trip out on those. Walking to the British strip from here takes about 30 mins along the sea front with plenty of bars and restaurants to stop at on the way. This hotel is kept really clean and tidy and I will definitely be returning later in the year👍🥇
we stayed in a junior suite and it was very specious. The location of the hotel was great. Close enough walk to the old town as well as being a nice walk away from the hustle and bustle of main Benidorm. the breakfast was great. a huge selection of food. It is also close to some great restaurants next door (Urban Gastrobar and a cocktail bar), which are reasonably priced and serve great food.
Fantastic location on the Levante beach front. Great views over the beach and med. Room very comfortable. Great spot as approximately half way between new town and old town. Great value for money, we paid 70 euro per night. Would definitely stay here again and beats staying in a Hotel if you don't mind self catering. Not that you have to as there are hundreds of places to eat near by.
Everything about this hotel is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, there are 2 great bars, one on the roof with great views over the sea and the other has entertainment on most nights. Wide selection of food and drinks in the restaurant. Cleaners do an amazing job on the rooms. Location is perfect for the quieter side of Benidorm, but walking distance to the shops in Old Town.
The Deluxe Room on the corner of the seventh floor was stunning with floor to ceiling glass walls and a fantastic view of Benidorm and the sea. The room was huge with a massive bed and a double spa bath! The linen and towels were great quality and breakfast was excellent. The position of the hotel midway between the new and the old town and a few minutes from the beach is perfect
Excellent location, in centre of Old Town around the corner from Tapas Alley, easy for both sides (Levante & Poinette) of Benidorm. Hotel was clean, Rooms a little tired, but it added to the character, and was more than functional. Breakfast was more than adequate, staff, very polite and helpful. We would definitely stay again.. 👍🏽👍🏽
Centro Mar is a great hotel, tucked away just behind El Castillo in Benidorm’s old town. The only thing better than the location is the pool with its panoramic views, and the only thing better than the pool is the staff who could not be friendlier or more helpful. Best kept secret? It has a car park, five minutes walk away.
perfect location in the old town Benidorm, 20 min walk into the new town so walked in one night but was perfect walking out of it to this hotel in lovely setting.
Right on the beach, gorgeous little balcony on roof if don’t like the beach with perfect views.
All you can eat breakfast with lots of choices !
I was very happy with overall cleanliness of the hotel in general , the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room and facilities were excellent. the views from the corner suite were absolutely tremendous. If I ever go to Benidorm again I would love to stay at the BCL Lavante club hotel and Spar.
The hotel was perfect for one night: clean, very good location, close enough to the beach, quiet area, basic but good breakfast. The lady from reception gave us a map and recommendations. The hotel does not have a parking but they advised to park in Colci parking,1 minute distance (18eur).
Absolutely fantastic location, perfect for Benidorm Old Town. The staff were brilliant, they couldn't do enough for me. Superb room, really comfy bed, very clean room. I will definitely return, highly recommended Hotel, first class! Thank you 😊
Stayed here on many occasions, very clean hotel, great air conditioning, friendly staff on hand 24hrs. This hotel has a superb location within Benidorm Old Town and within a few minutes walk to both the harbour and 'Tapas Alley'.
No frills hotel for 6 girls on a break in benidorm fantastic location 5 min walk to old town tapas alley etc 5 mins in a taxi to the new town nightlife 7 euros. Staff fantastic too 👏
This is my second time staying at this hotel I have booked it again for November this year is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in in Benidorm the clending this and the staff 100%
