The picturesque, traditional Mallorcan house with a most spectacular view in a charming little village. There were 129 steps to climb, but every step was worth it.

The SPECTACULAR view. Our room had a terrace with a sea view. There were seating facilities outside so you could enjoy the view with a glass of wine and simply admire the view.

Small hotel in great location. Very clean and comfortable. Large room and very comfortable large bed. Linen and towels very good quality. Breakfast very good, lots of choice, fresh bread and pastries. Good coffee. Our room had a balcony and Seaview and overlooked the main road, despite this it was beautifully, quiet and peaceful in the evening overnight and for much of the morning. Pool although small was very clean with ample sunbeds.
The family-run Petit Hotel is set in a traditional stone house in Valldemossa and features a large sun terrace. It offers colourful rooms with wooden furnishings and satellite TV.

Accommodations were clean & adequate for our needs (we don't visit places to stay in rooms). We wanted a nice place to stay while we went exploring the Island via rental car. In evenings, we ate mostly at local restaurants and we did not have a bad meal; in fact, most were quite good in terms of nutrition and portion size, and reasonably priced. And the food was always fresh. The biggest issue for us was parking & driving; the rental agency gave us a big Jeep and it was a pain to drive on some of the small (tiny, narrow, curvy) roads we drove on when exploring other parts of the Island

We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place.
We stayed 3 days in this absolute gem of a place. We counted at least 7 eating options and a variety of shops. It's a very historic village which clings to the hillside with cultivation terraces all the way down to the coast. A rewarding stay after the narrow and winding road to get there.

Banyalbufar is a small mountainside village of about 500 residents which is swollen by holday home owners and tourists in summer. Not recommended for people with mobility issues! Steps and steep inclines all over.
Restaurants that we used were good and there is a convenience store and a pharmacy. They all close a least one day a week. There is a beach but its a long way down from the main drag and its stony. If you enjoy dramatic views and sipping drinks on terraces whilst watching the sunset, it's fabulous!

Banyalbufar was lovely, peaceful and unspoilt when we visited in early July. The quality and selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance of the hotel was a really nice surprise. We took our 6 year old to the beach and thought it was fine for kids her age if they don't mind the steep walk home but you'd want to take a sunshade and maybe rock shoes as it can be slippery and hot on the rocks.

Superb sea and mountain views.
Superb sea and mountain views. Excellent hill walking options. (Try the Cami des Correu marked walk to Esporles). Several good restaurants, try Sa Tomas for great sea food and paellas.
Banyalbufar is really a large village set on hillside terraces first established by the Moors; so steep hills and narrow streets.

This town was my favorite of all that we visited in Mallorca. Very small and quaint, but amazing food at the restaurants we visited. A number of places were closed when we went in October, but I would still go back to try more restaurants and the bodega that we weren't able to see. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the views from the entire town can't be beat. GO HERE!!
Truly exceptional hotel in all the means. Great staff mastering the customer relations, delicious cuisine, beautiful garden with heated pools and amazing surroundings and view at mountains and sea. Place with divine energy where one come for few days and has the feeling to stay forever. As my husband said, this hotel will be always fully booked in the future when people realize the value of staying there. We have traveled Mallorca staying in several other 5* hotels, but there is no other place like Finca Son Bunyola.
I absolutely fell in love with the hotel!
It was far beyond than what I expected. We arrived around 8pm and the sunset was amazing from the hotel’s restaurant! We had a great table to watch the sunset and eat something. The food was delicious. I felt like they do give their love and passion to what they bring to the table. Also breakfast was great too.
Location wise, we rented a car, so it was convenient for us.
Breakfast was great and included large selection of homemade food. Lovely coffee and cakes. Penny was really helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the sea. The bed was comfortable and the village was peaceful. We would stay in the same hotel if we visit Mallorca again. It is a great place to stay if you want to go on lots of walks around the coast and into the mountains.
Conveniently located right in front of a bus stop, although I drove. Check in was easy and clear. Such a beautiful property with so many little nooks to hide away and read a book or something. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The breakfast was outstanding!!!! I also love that they are environmentally conscious so they provide water (at a cost) in glass bottles.
This beautiful boutique hotel looks right out on the Mediterranean and the rooms are so unique and beautiful. The A/C was a life saver, with the extreme heat, and the short (but steep) walk to the beach for a swim was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they make a fantastic cappuccino at breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful stay at Can Colom. The hotel has a very inviting atmosphere and a ton of charm. Our room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the sea. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast provided was great.
Added bonus that public parking is easily accessible from the hotel. Would definitely recommend!
Spacious & friendly hotel. Wonderful sea view from the glass fronted lounge & restaurant. Too cold in April to sit out much but facilities for that are great too.
Banyalbufor is a small village and you need a car to see the island. Many roads are narrow & winding but the payoff is the scenery.
Excellent support from Maria. Very well appointed house. Outdoor seating area with sea view. Everything you could need in kitchen and for washing clothes. 3 bedrooms so plenty of room. Super cliff walk into Bunyalbufar. Chance to see the new 5*
Branson hotel on the way. Quiet village.
The hotel building is very beautiful, nicely decorated and has a terrace with an amazing view.
The hotel was not that busy when we arrived and the staff upgraded, for free, our room, and we received one with sea view.
Good breakfast also.
We highly recomand this place.
Honestly, we feel like we stumbled upon heaven in the mountains. The town, the hotel, the staff, the beaches and the sunsets. If I had tried to find perfection I never would have gotten this lucky. Part of me wanted to leave the world behind and move here fulltime.
The location of the hotel and the attention to detail that they had put into it was absolutely incredible. The staff that worked there were extremely friendly and accommodating to every request we had. It was really good.
Breakfast was great; barista type espresso/etc coffee. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Serrano ham, good cheese and ensaimada along with some of the best tortilla I've had. Everything served was top-notch
I have visited this hotel many times and always enjoyed it. The staff are great if a little stretched and the dinner is always good. The location is excellent too.
Fantastic location, atmosphere, restaurant. Owner was very welcoming and helpful with everything from parking on Banyalbufar's narrow streets to hiking advice.
