Great hotel in the centre of a beautiful town. Good sized rooms, big comfortable bed and friendly staff. They have a garage around the corner to store our bikes. Because it’s in the heart of the town, it can’t be helped that the traffic noise starts early. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very attentive staff in offering their assistance after my motorbike broke down outside this planned accommodation for the night. They helped above and beyond by contacting the nearest garage and even offering a lift. Good food and drinks, nice local crowd. Room was very nice. Recommended stop over. Alarpe apertetxea is a peaceful place on a green hill with a beautiful view on the mountains. The staff was extraordinarily kind and available for all needs. The rooms are quiet and clean (just do not forget your anti mosquito spray in summer) and the breakfast was tasteful. I spent a great night over there during a bike solo trip. If other bikepackers are reading, just consider that the final climb can be quite steep 😜
