I was cycling from Bilbao into France. The Pension provided an excellent, good value stopover. A shared bathroom but, like the bedroom, it was very clean. A simple but very nicely prepared dinner in the restaurant

Bar/Restaurant on site. Very helpful staff. Clean comfortable room.
This great spa hotel is housed in a modernist building dating back to the 19th century. The property has preserved it charm, romance and special old-time spa atmosphere.

The welcoming family. Homemade & home grown breakfast produce. The Casa is an architectural delight, keeping the authentic farmhouse look with super modern interior, kitchens and ensuites. Glorious garden available to guests. The bed was one of the most comfortable ever! Quiet location, walks in tree lined lanes, besides fields and brooks.
I was just passing by, staying for one night. Nevertheless I planned to assess the town as I enjoy the area and have plans to return for some hiking.
The town is fairly compact and can easily be visited on foot, featuring an interesting pedestrian area along the river.
On the main square I found a very lively youth event with an ongoing football-like match.
Beyond this, the brief experience was not the best as I ended on a restaurant that felt to be touristic, with staff that were not particularly welcoming or attentive. The menu was very limited and the food also did not impress. I hope there are other more satisfying options in town.

Wonderful mountain town, lots of history, huge cathedral,...
Wonderful mountain town, lots of history, huge cathedral, really nice people. Amazing views everywhere and easy access to all of the other small villages and towns in the area as well as San Sebastian. Take the small roads along the seashore both south and north of Azpeitia - you will fall in love with the people and the scenery!
The owner welcomed us nicely, the beds were confy, the shared bathrooms were clean. Served us well!
Tip: There's a hidden path to reach Azpeitia on foot without walking along the highway. Climb a bit near the parking lot, go South, leave the dogs to your right, keep climbing South a bit, and keep left at the second fork, when the path is not paved anymore. At the end of the path, you will find a staircase that goes directly to the town.
It is really nice hotel. All is very good and staff is really kindly and helpful. Even we want to hiking to Sant Ignacio hill which is 2-3 hours walking from hotel. Owners help us to find correct mountain patch to go there.
There is restaurant on the place, also during lunch time there is daily menu. Perfect food and perfect staff:)
Thank you very much for kindly hospitality
Everything was perfect, superb premises and very helpful staff. Meals were fantastic, breakfast superb and were we well looked after duing meals. I would love to go there again. The local area I did not visit except a few local bars and cafes, however the hotel is in central Basque Country so everywhere is reachable with one good base.
Great apartment for exploring Basque country. Excellent fit for family with 2 kids. Very well equipped with all necessary kitchenware. We visited Azpeitia during festive week and parking car required some creativity. Be prepared to be waken up by marching musicians along old city at 9am on Sunday. It was fun though.
• It is located in the beautiful mountains of Azpeitia with an amazing view of the city.
• Well managed by a wonderful host Ana.
• Clean rooms, kitchen and dining space.
• Perfect option to have a relaxed stay for both vacation or work.
