The location was really nice, very close to the beach, beautiful view from the balcony. Rather calm neighborhood, everything that was needed (including restaurants) was near. It was also communicated with the city center (trams). Breakfasts were okay, although we missed some fresh vegetables. We were there for our honeymoon and the hotel offered some champagne to us which was lovely.

Embraced by the sandy Costa Blanca beaches and caressed by the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Alicante has a rich heritage built over thousands of years. Alacant (as it's known in Valencian) has a deep history ranging from the first tribes that arrived at the slopes of Mount Benacantil to Greeks, Romans and Moors. Nowadays, this modern city boasts a bustling harbour, great Spanish nightlife, charming old streets and modern beach resorts.
Overlooking the city from the top of Mount Benacantil, the Castle of Santa Barbara was built in the 9th century during Islamic rule. Cascading down the slopes towards the city centre, L'Ereta Park has terraced levels that offer stunning panoramic views of the city. The remains of the ancient Roman town of Lucentum are also just a few kilometres away.
Barrio de la Santa Cruz is the historic quarter, featuring narrow streets, old houses and cobbled steps. Framed by palm trees and covered with a snaking pattern of white, red and blue tiles, the Explanada de Espana is considered one of Spain’s most beautiful promenades.
After arriving at Alicante Airport, indulge yourself in a resort near San Juan beach, or enjoy the view of luxurious yachts moored at the marina from a cosy B&B: Booking.com has the perfect spot for you to discover the magic of Alicante!

Alicante is an amazing city with gorgeous beaches and warm seas. The town is clean, the food is delicious, and the vibe is super friendly! It’s the perfect place for a fun and exciting vacation. You can soak up the sun at the beach or explore many cool sights. The food? Oh, it's out of this world! Here, rice is the kitchen king, starring in most local dishes. And you must try the traditional Spanish paella, served with veggies or seafood at the local restaurants. It's a culinary paradise!

The walk up to Santa Barbara castle through el barrio to access the castle views is a must. We also liked the buzzy atmosphere of the old town bars and restaurants on an evening.
The tram is superb and we used it to visit Playa San Juan and El Campello.
We loved Arroz but give the Arroz negro (the squid ink one) a miss - it's an acquired taste.

It is big enough to have everything you need, theatre, cinema, Michelin star restaurants, rural and high end tapas bars, excellent beach. I could go on for a lot longer, but what attracts us most is that you can walk everywhere and get some exercise to burn of the calories from the excellent food!

Alicante is a busy bustling city with mixture of the old town and the newer main shopping area. It is not a large city that is over whelming. You feel safe both day and night.
There is lots to see walking around the town and an adventure to find where each turn takes you.
The public transport is easy to use, the C6 bus from the airport take you straight to the marina which is an easy place to start your exploration.
The tram system is clean and easy to use and amazing value for money with a Travel card taking you to near and far neighbouring towns.

Definitely a hotel that caters to Spanish guests - the wait...
Definitely a hotel that caters to Spanish guests - the wait staff did not speak much English - I don’t speak much Spanish so a bit challenging. They don’t engage for that reason so appear a little unwelcoming which is not really the case. It is also obvious that the staff need training. Front desk staff are the best trained - all others we encountered need some service training.
Location was ideal, just behind Alicante food market and five minutes walk from the airport bus drop off! Hotel was quite small, but nothing wrong with that. Room was fine and clean. Staff weren't particularly fairly and didn't really want to engage. Noone spoke much English. But then again it is Alicante, not Skegness, so fair enough. Close to the city centre, the train and to the sea front. Plenty of amenities in the vicinity both shops, bakeries and restaurants. Not much not to like!
Basic but well kept, clean hotel with small but seems modern, renovated room. Equipped with all the nessessary things exept a fridge, what is a big disadvantage. Maybe thats why one of the cheapest hotel in Alicante. Reception stuff is kind, helpful. Location is really gond but the beach is 15-20minutes away.. But 5 minutes from airport bus, mercado, szupermarket, city centre. Breakfast in thr Coffee shop of the hotel in the hotel building.
Fantastic location, in the historic city centre but at the same time, very well connected with the airport. Hotel surrounded by the best bars and restaurants in town. Very nice breakfasts and amazing coffee. The Staff at the reception has been very nice and helpful.
Perfect location in a cozy area of the city - close to everything in Alicante. Really clean and fresh rooms and a nice breakfast included in the already cheap price!
So nice and friendly staff.
I can really recommend this hostel. :) Smile!
The area was out of the tourist area and a convenient location for beaches, Alicante and restaurants. Size of hotel room and balcony were amazing, plus views and cocktail barman was just the best.
