Low season was the perfect opportunity to enjoy romantic country getaway. Maybe we couldn’t use every possibility, because of the language barrier, but one garden and pool was more than enough. Use google translate and it is a place with filmlike atmosphere.

Beautifully restored and decorated historical building with an amazing view from the outdoor terrace restaurant, which also serves delicious home cooked meals. Drinks available all hours via a refreshing honesty bar - great hospitality. Great fresh breakfast also served.

Fantastic location in the centre of Alhama, the owner was extremely friendly and gave a warm welcome. The decor in the room was delightful, extremely clean. a good size shower.

Exactly what they promised. The lads on the desk were friendly and helpful, easy parking, great pool and book libraries. Did not avail ourselves of all facilities in our one night stay - but bar and restaurant looked fine. Great meal in Competa central square.

Wonderful place in a magical valley, perfect for hiking and active travelers. The service and food are hard to beat. The nearby Buddhist temple is a must-visit for those seeking a spiritual experience.
The gorge. Easy to walk along, lovely views. Hot springs just out of town, but very busy. The old town, easy to walk around, a lot of buildings have been restored, and the castle is in the middle of restoration to a hotel. Very quiet area.

Good walking, cycling and and spas nearby. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Near enough to Granada for a day trip.

Just a perfect little white town with views forever. A hikers' paradise. Dozens of trails to choose from. The thermal hot springs beside the river were very relaxing. It's a pity the Hotel Balneriao was closed.

The panoramic view from the bedroom and the location itself was just stunning. In the neighbourhood there is a small square with very unique and local restaurants. A very romantic hiking path also starts right next to the hotel.

Lovely house in stunnimg location looking directly over the gorge and old part of town. A very Spanish old town with friendly people, specially the lovely lady who greeted us and made sure we had all we needed for our stay. Eating out options in the town were limited due to it being early April but If you like real Spain and want to stay in a comfy boutique hotel, then La Maroma is recommended.
Nice countryhotel next to little birdpond close to Alhama. It has superb hammanstyle baths, very clean, with lovely thermal waters. Massage was excellent. As a guest you get a discount for the entree.
Breakfast was nice, with fresh orangejuice and good coffee and tostadas with choice of topping.
The kitchen was stocked with bread, muffins, and fresh fruit for breakfast. Overall the property was clean and comfortable in itself. It is in a great location near the town centre, a number of stores and restaurants, and the Alhama de Granada's main attraction, the gorge and the walking trail.
