Very nice option for a getaway, close to the city. The hotel has with great facilities, including a magnificent garden to chill out. Breakfast was nice and bedrooms are comfortable.

Excellent location for overnight stop, after disembarking the island ferry to Barcelona. Easy access from the Auto pista, close to the exit, and yet the road was unobtrusive from the hotel. Amazing views from the hotel which is elevated on a hill. The secure fencing and entrance gates gave us comfort for parking our car overnight. Welcoming and helpful staff. The restaurant was fully operational later into the evening, serving delicious food. Dogs welcome - lots of grass areas to walk pets. The swimming pool looked very inviting.

It is a pleasant tranquil town .
You can get into Barcelona easily by bus or train .
Also regular train to coastal resorts further up the coast . For lovers of wine there are wine tasting tours in the area .
We were delighted with the Hotel Arrey Alella. Located in a quiet area, easy to find and it's beautifully laid out. Pretty gardens and terrace, with a pool (much too cold in February though).
Onsite parking.
The rooms are modern and clean and we received an upgrade to one with a private terrace.
Dinner was delicious.
Breakfast was very good, with some a la carte choices. Great coffee!
Everyone was super friendly, lending me a phone charger when mine got lost.
Our dog was also welcomed with her own bed in the room.

The entry to the hotel is not easy in a low car, I scraped the underside front of mine on the way in ( going out was ok). I was aware of a charge for parking but when we arrived we noted it was a big enough car park inside the hotel grounds. I saw the car park charge as a means of upping the price. My fault probably but be aware.
Bathroom was small but adequate. The washbasin was in the bedroom. Dinner (tapas) was poor quality.
The staff were very pleasant. We arrived late in the evening, and they offered us a cold meal if we were hungry even though the restaurant was in the process of closing. Our room was small, but we managed to have a decent sleep after a long travel day.As the hotel is in a rather obscure area, there was good signage leading you there.
Breakfast is a continental breakfast buffet with lovely fresh fruit and you help yourself to coffee.
The hotel is a favourite but is looking a little shabby now with marks on the bedroom walls and scuff marks on the floors, carpets etc. It needs a refresh but the staff are helpful and welcoming.
We’ve stayed multiple times and we LOVE this place! The food is spectacular! Hotel staff is absolutely lovely. Adriana and Constantine are especially wonderful. Very convenient access to the Hamelin-Laie International School. I can’t wait to return next year!

The hotel is very beautiful, it is situated at the top of a hill about 25/30 minutes from Barcelona. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and the surrounding neighborhoods and restaurants were great.
The location of the property is excellent. It is in the Centre of Alella and everything is close by. The property is very modern and very clean. The host are constantly in touch which is also very helpful. Overall a very good stay.
The room we were given was smelling of cigarettes, when we arrived. The staff immediately put us in an upgraded room for the night, very good service. In general, the hotel is really nice, and with a car, it is in a good location.
The room was comfortable and clean, as was the whole hotel. It could have done with rather more character - felt a bit corporate. I thought the drinks were very expensive. Overall I thought it was rather good

It was a very quaint hotel, clean pool and always clean pool towels freely available. Lively quiet location with a fab bakery a few minutes walk and a wonderful vineyard 10mins walk away.
Distance to Barcelona easy to do with express bus E19 which stops near the hotel (50 meter) and is a 30min drive to the city center for only 3,40 euro per person.
