The buffet meal in the evening was excellent value at €17.50 -huge choice of starters , freshly cooked mains of fish or meat or vegetable dishes. The wine was good too. Everyone was very helpful as I had never seen food cooked before me. I had fish and it was cooked before me. The desserts were also excellent .
I had my dog with me so had to go and fetch the food into the cafe area. Would have been impossible on my own although my dog would have behaved impeccably and stayed in the cafe.

The hotel is very nicely decorated and clean. The location is absolutely quiet and the beds are comfortable. Villafranca is a small city but a perfect location to explore the Bardenas Reales. We had a very nice dinner and outstanding wine for a very good price. Love to come again!
