Small quiet town, with some historical buildings and a history of trains, because of the rail hub. A walk throug the city takes about 2 hours. As a tourist, ideal as a stop for the night. Remarkable is the effort of the communidad to offer the residents modern and useful infrastructure.

A small town which advertises itself as a place with...
A small town which advertises itself as a place with historic rail links. Sadly, it seems to be the roads which have had more impact and we felt that the centre of town had been largely denuded of restaurants; the ones we used were on the western edge of town, towards the bus station. The town prides itself on being the birthplace of Cervantes, but was there a postcard to be found? No.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable bed.
Stayed one night as stopover for long train journey, easy walking distance from station.
Simple breakfast included but fine for reasonable price for room.
Pleasant clean room with required comforts and nice bathroom. Comfortable bed and fully functioning air conditioning. Reception staff were pleasant and dealt with issues raised. Secure and private Hotel parking.
