Great place for a very relaxed vacation, the staff at the reception is amazing, they even called the buscompany for my travel onwards (without me asking) to confirm departure of the bus. And they organized a "late arrivals dinner box" which turned out a huge tray of more dishes than one could possibly eat. Can only recommend (also Bayview and Strand hotels, I have stayed there before, they belong together). Will be back soon hopefully!
Featuring a private beach area and views of sea, SakraTah Camp - eco friendly is a recently renovated campground located in Taba, 28 km from Underwater Observatory Park.

The beach and the underwater coral reef there are absolutely beautiful - this is the main attraction, for sure. Diving there was amazing.
I hadn't been to Sinai in over twenty years so I'd kind of forgotten what it's like. The biggest issues were the heat and the water - you can't drink the water in Egypt if you're not Egyptian, so you have to buy bottled water all day long and it's actually not that cheap, at least at the hotels. Other than the beaches and the hotels, there didn't seem to be a lot to see there - I guess you could take tours but we didn't. It's not really a "town" per say, it's more like a string of hotels, resorts, etc. But it's beautiful on the beach and the hotel we stayed at (Nielson Village) was very nice in terms of the view, the service, the room and so on.

The hotel looks impressive from the outside, the rooms are large, the balcony is relatively large, the cleanliness is average, the facilities in the room are outdated, the food in the hotel is not varied enough and there is a crazy fly problem in the place.

Nothing much to do un Taba, but it's very comfortable for families with kids and,the fact that you can walk from and to the border from the, hotel - is,amazing. We ate, most of the time at the, hotel but once we went to a nice restaurant on the beach and another day we took a taxi to Dahab

Wonderful hotel, great location, just across the border.
Wonderful hotel, great location, just across the border. The pool and the beach are stunning What's so great about this hotel is that despite the fact it was the peak of the high season, and it was fully booked, you did not feel the crowds since the facilities are so spacious. For families with children, the main hotel building seems to be most comfortable, with the best accessibility to the food services and the pool. For a family with 3 children, 2 adjacent rooms were given and it was great. For couples, I would certainly recommend the Nelson village rooms, which give a much more quiet and romantic setting. We had full board - the food was relatively good, the varaiety rich and sufficient. Service is excellent, and the hotel's staff are friendly and helpful. My only comment is regarding the check-in process which could be more efficient. Throughout the process, hotel customers kept asking for the receptionist's help, not waiting in line, and unfortunately, he was attending to them while he was checking us in, thus making our time longer than needed.
To sum it up - certainly a recommended stay and would love to come again!

Taba is a one kilometer fenced area.
Taba is a one kilometer fenced area. If you want to walk on the beach you will be confined to the area of two hotels (Hilton and Movenpick). Any attempt to keep walking outside these two hotels will be prevented by hotel security. Made me feel fenced in and confined.
On the positive side, it is a short walk from the Israeli border which made me feel very safe.
I will probably not come back to Taba because of the small fenced in area. Like to take walks and not just sit on the beach and eat...

Well, service was excellent, food with variety of tasty things, private beach,as a Vegan person, you could always find something to eat,but it's highly recommended to talk with the manager of the kitchen who promised to prepare special things for Veganl, excellent hotel
Absolutely outstanding… Basant,Shirin and Ahmed were more like friends and family rather than hosts!
It’s the perfect getaway if you would like to disconnect and recharge. It’s secluded, untapped and you will right at home if you like to connect with nature and meet nice people.
You will enjoy the variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner and if you haven’t tried the Egyptian cuisine before this would be a great start.
Thank you guys for an amazing stay. See you soon!
The boardwalk connecting this, and the two adjacent Hotels along their extended Beaches Was really good for walks. The seashell seafood restaurant and lebenese restaurant were great and the staff was great. Overall, the staff at the hotel was exceptional.
The breakfast was only so so. Especially since this is supposed to be a five star hotel. The Marriott and Meridien and Cairo for example, both have much better breakfast, as does the Sheraton.
We stayed in this hotel a couple of times before, this time as we arrived the hotel was half a sleep, the gardening was neglected so was the furneture, the dining rooms ect. After 2 days the hotel was fully booked and you can tell that the hotel was in the process of waking up. The staff was helpfull, the spa was great so was the workers there.
The food is simple, but good. The place don't have lot of rooms, so quiet, if you want to relax, this place for you... Just the sea, the mountains and you :) The place don't have electricity, just in the evening, don't have wifi, just if somebody share the mobilnet... so it is a very quiet place, no news, no work, just relaxation.
Right after arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room with a huge terrace and a king size bed. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. We were given several bottles of water every day, which made us very happy as there is no drinking tap water in Egypt. Everything was fine and we would definitely love to go back.
The warm and kind welcome of the staff and owners makes you feel at home from the start, it’s really the most peaceful and quiet experience in Sinai. The food is made fresh and delicious, the vegetables are fresh and the dinners are a lot of time traditional Egyptian food. Had an amazing and quiet time.
I had a great time here, the service was great and is a really easy place to stay close to Taba. I think this place deserves more recognition.
Beds are super comfortable and the place holds a lot of character!
Thank you for the kind hospitality.
Hope to stay at Tobya again soon.
Everything about Bayview Taba Heights was exceptional. The beautiful buildings, walkways, plants and flowers, the pool, the beach and sea, the dining area, the entertainment, the cleanliness, but most of all the amazingly friendly and helpful staff.
