La Hacienda resort seems to be probably the most well known and best resort there.
About the food you wouldn't find the widely known food chains available there, just some local restaurants and supermarkets (some good, some bad follow your instincts). So maybe prep some meals to pack with you or rely on the resort's eatery, if any.
A popular activity there is Kite surfing which looks very enjoyable but unfortunately they only offered costly 6-day-courses, no individual surfs.

Although tide hugely affect sea level, you can enjoy it during high tide with exra time during low tide to enjoy doing other activities. The only problem is that transportation is really bad in ras sedr.
The hotel is very clean and the food is delicious, they have many options. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet, so it's perfect to spend a relaxing time over there. The beach and the sea were wonderful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. They even helped us when our bus didn't come to pick us up. Thank you Mr. Kamal and all the staff of Golden Beach Resort!
It is an exceptional experience in all the dimensions. The chalet was super clean with all the required facilities. Additionally, the host is very helpful and prompt in all the communications. The check-in process/check-out process was easy as well.
I will always stay here whenever going to Ras Sudr again. La Haceinda is also amazing and underrated.

I will go there again in the future. And I recommend it specially if you come from Cairo and need mearby hotel not in Sokhna. About 2.5 hrs driving
It’s a luxury beachfront premises with great and welcoming staff , they were taking a good care of us during the entire stay.
We will definitely come back probably for the Christmas or New Year’s Eve . A big thanks for Mr Zakaria the general manager and the entire team of the hotel .

I like the beach the weather ,you can see the sea from the room ,Mr yasser in the reception is super helper .I would like to thank him.The animation team ,sokar ,Ahmed and Yasmin are trying their best to make the children happy ..the fire show is lovely.
The owner was really friendly and fair. He refunded our last night when we politely asked him to because we didn’t feel comfortable there and switched to the hotel in the resort called Fade. the resort itself where the chalet is located is really nice.

I forgot my mobile in the room and I checked out and was going to leave the hotel , that time the person who was going to clean the room after me came running to the reception and give me my mobile .
