Port Ghalib was a small port town that has transformed into a touristic place. Not much to see, a nice marina and a small promenade. Famous restaurant/club "Hakuna Matata", led by Polish owners, attended by known artists and bands - worth coming by. Few cafeterias and souvenir shops and that's all.

after dinner is nice to take a walk to the port and stop to drink at the bars. enjoy the nice climate and and listen music.
visit the many shops along the inner streets. where you can find parfums souvenirs of every kinds.
all people you meet are sociable but non intrusive, the walk is always pleasantly interrupted by these stops in which the various products are offered in a kind way.

To resume those wonderful 7 days in Port Ghalib Marina Resort, I would say it felt like home.
The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, the room was tidy and clean every day, provided with very good food options, the space at the reception is gorgeous specially at evenings before dinner with live music. I will definitely go back.
The beach with the coral was so amazing to me, that I couldn’t get out of the water to enjoy the rest of the resort, such as the swimming pool, gym and other facilities. I felt part of the family at the “Wonderful Dive”.
A big shout out to some members of the staff: Ibrahim from the reception, Fahzer at the towel desk at the beach always so careful, Antonio from the Italian restaurant, and so many more who showed professionalism, kindness and dedication in the past week.
I see you all very soon. :)

Large and beautiful hotel.
Large and beautiful hotel. Public spaces, pool, bars, restaurant look gorgeous and luxurious. Food is OK compared to other Egyptian hotels. Rooms are spacious and clean.
Very close to the Marina complex with some shops, bars and restaurants.
Apart from the beach, pools, water sports and diving there is not much going on in Port Ghalib and surroundings.

Room was nice, clean and a good size. Softer pillows were provided on request. Cleaned well every day. Drinks - alcohol; spirits of poor quality so stuck to (very weak) cocktails, wine which was just ok and beer which varied in quality. Fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffees available for breakfast. Food was ok, a wide choice although little different from one restaurant to another. Pools good, beach ok for sunbathing and paddling but for several days plagued by sandflies - not the hotel's fault but we had to abandon the beach for two days as they were quite bad. Staff were good making a real effort to be friendly and helpful. Reps selling spa treatments and trips were too persistent, and the line "where are you from?" became very old!
First of all, I did read a lot of reviews of this hotel, and I believe many people expected high end while they didn’t pay & book high end! The hotel meets expectations perfectly, staff is outstanding friendly and helpful, breakfast is more than enough, we had dinner once and it was better than any other 5* all inclusive I’ve stayed so far in Egypt! Rooms were spacious, cleans, we had all we needed! We had a 3 night stay and it was just fine! Would book again!
Everything here was amazing starting from arrival till departure and the staff were very helpful and cheerfull.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Marina View Hotel. The team is really kind and helpful, the location is perfect between the city of Port Ghalib and all the beaches. And they have bikes to rent! I had a clean room with a balcony, everything worked perfecly! the breakfast and the dinner were buffet, which I enjoy and the food was always very good!

The whole hotel is a great experience that’s worth living. From the reception team and the smooth experience that we’ve had since we showed up till the end of our 1 week long trip! The animation team is also great and they keep the fun activities going all day and night! pool is available as well as spa services too! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that’s up for some fun, relaxing time
Large number of sunbeds. Several pools, 2 comfortably heated in winter. Nubian style rooms, nicely decorated. Very good food, well organized service, attentive waiters. All orher staff perfect, ready to help, smiling, greeting. 2 coral molo's. Great public accessible beach 1 km north of the hotel with amazing corals and tranquil water.
Everythin is just amazing, the staff is incredibly polite and always smiling, treating everyone with respect and just delightful to talk to. The food is wonderful.
The beach is amazing, night entertainment is diverse and fun. I wish there was Argentina show and looking forward to see it next time.

The hotel is very nice in a very good location near to the airport. The staff of the front office is very friendly and provided us with the all information. The service was excellent. I would like to thank the hotel managment for the excellent ane professional staff . In general we stayed unforgetabe vacation
Good place with a good value. staff is nice and friendly. and they have a very good diving center "sambo" Mr.s3od, and special thanks to all reception front office staff and sea staff Ali & Ahmed, and it will not be the only visit to this hotel.
The apartment is right in the sleepy town of Port Ghalib. You can see desert and a bit of sea from the balcony. It's a really quiet place bth day and night. So, it was good for rest after a long flight.
Everything was great so, we had so much fun and during our stay the whole Sands Port Ghalib stuff made us feel like home!! I wish when I get back I found all my friends are there with good health
