Other than the extensive gardens and pools there's not too much to be excited about. The pools lack adequate shade. The lounges are weathered. The play structures are faded.

The Crowne Plaza, West Cairo Arkan is one of the best Hotel I have ever been. The room is very spacious, well cleaned and very comfortable. The hotel facilities are fantastic and there are two great restaurants with bar. Infinity pool at the top of the building with a great view.

Apartment very cosy and clean. Fully furnished.
Apartment very cosy and clean. Fully furnished. Equipped with detergents, set of plates, mugs, cutlery, iron and washing machine. It was everything you needed. The only downside was when the kettle got broken even though the owner said he would bring the new one next day in the morning he didn't and the kettle hasn't been replaced. Also we couldn't do check out when we wanted to leave.

In my opinion, my stay at the hotel was superb.
In my opinion, my stay at the hotel was superb. Overall, everything was excellent, with only a few minor issues. I highly recommend this hotel, despite considering the distance from the city center. If I were to return to Egypt, I would definitely book a room at this hotel again. I extend my gratitude to all the officials and staff members of this hotel for their outstanding service.

Novotel is a no-frills business-type hotel and the general approach is matter-of-fact without smothering the guests in over-attentiveness. Customer service, generally hits just the right note. The hotel was quiet and the facilities used were relaxing and not crowded. There were no noisy weddings like most of the other hotels in 6th Of October. Breakfast is of a good standard and the quality and selections of food are very good. The a-la-carte menu experience was excellent on the outdoor terrace. The room size is not expansive but more than adequate. The decor is good but tired in places showing obvious signs of wear with some ominous carpet stains. The lighting was not great with two main room/desk lamps not working at all. There were loose connections in the bedside light switch and it was hard to keep all the lights on. The hotel could also improve on the number and location of electrical sockets. The bathroom is compact and the shower really good. Had to remove the drain cover though to stop flooding the floor. Bed very comfortable and linen smelt fresh. Wi-Fi was the super highlight of the stay. It was superfast which is rare in Cairo Hotels. Bravo Novotel. A good experience overall. Will come again.

It was fine.
It was fine.
6th October is not as crowded as the rest of Cairo, so no traffic jams.
The proximity to the Pyramids is amazing. So you can take a day for the Pyramids and then another for the Sphinx and other sites there.
The malls are very nice for those who like shopping and their close proximity is a true plus.

The hotel contacted me to apologize and follow up with me after I shared some disappointing comments. They promise to make it up and that is satisfying that they care to improve and please their visitors. Good customer service.
Very smart hotel in lovely surroundings overlooking the golf course. Great pool and surrounds with plenty of loungers and parasols. Good food and service at the pool side snack bar. Breakfast in the dining room over looking the golf course was excellent with good service. Rooms were clean and spacious with everything you need. All the staff were pleasant, helpful and attentive. We had previously stayed at another 5 star hotel in Giza near the Pyramids and the Hilton Pyramids is by far the best. Highly recommended
The room was lovely and in a great location.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel buffet had good quality food and the prices were very reasonable.
Huge bed and two duvets - fantastic......no duvet stealing by my other half!
The hotel transfer service uses well maintained cars and sensible drivers - worth paying the extra for compared to cheaper options.
The pool was clean and a good size.
The view of the golf course was pleasant.
Options to pay in different currencies.

please don’t make my mistake don’t rant there
find something close to the city
i didn’t think it should be on booking
We stayed at the hotel in a King Suite for 1 night prior to joining a group tour. The front desk staff was kind enough to let us remain in the suite for the extra 2 nights of our stay without additional cost. Very much appreciated and made our stay there much easier - not having to repack and change rooms.
Hotel as it must to be: comfy and clean. Everything on place where it must be and works on your espectations. Room is clean, comfy and clean beds, big and handy shower cabin, fast and stable wifi. Free parking in the street. Polite and professional staff. Safe and quiet enough neighborhood, easy to find.
The location, the hotel is located in the centre of October city 5 minutes from Egypt mall and 20 minutes from the pyramids. I got 2 interconnected rooms, the room was wide and bathroom was also wide and clean. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was average.
I visited Mövenpick Cairo Media City, and this was my best choice., Sure I will return again to visit this wonderful hotel , This hotel has the best reception team I have ever met.Thank you to all the employees, especially Mohamed El-Shimy, Nour and Adel
The cleanliness was absolutely amazing, and the treatment was very sophisticated and good. I thank very much all the staff, especially the hotel manager, Mahmoud, as I still remember his name for his good reception and his interest in our needs.
Amazing hotel, friendly staff, great surrounding area with lots of shops/coffee/restaurants and high-end outlets. The room is spacious and *clean*, the level of cleanliness is second to none in Cairo. The bed is absolutely amazing.
The location is right inside Arkan Plaza. The hotel is very stylish and modern, not like the other 5 stars hotels.
They offer me nice upgrade for the room, paid only 50 dollars per night. Thanks alot
My stay was excellent. The staff are super friendly specially Osama and Nada at the reception. I am extremely satisfied and I will surely visit the same hotel again.
Hotel is clean, internet pretty fast. Staff is very friendly and helpful. For me the biggest advantage was location just 10 minutes to my client factory.
