The host was very hospitable, the place was nice and clean, there was everything you need. The main room had a very comfortable wooden bed. We really liked the atmosphere of this place, there was a fireplace (stove) in the room, which we really liked, there were two big, very beautiful oak trees in the yard, quiet and peaceful. We booked this place for the experience of staying in a castle. It's more of a castle-like stately home than a true castle. The tower suite was fantastic. Sven, the host, was great. The place was lovely. Breakfast was healthy and fantastic. Would I stay again? Absolutely BUT in season.
