Everything was great. It was the only place around where I could stay with my cat, staff was very friendly and tried to arrange everything so the cat was not disturbed. In general staff is very friendly and helpful, everything was very clean, breakfast was good (though as I understand it’s pretty much the same every day, so you might get bored when staying there longer). Nice cafe and pub, very tasty grill and cakes. Very much recommend!

it is certainly good for the monastery. I think it is the only place in the area where food is served and the food is good. get all you need before it closes at 8pm. The bus service from Johvi is quite good.
The monastery is worth a visit. Inside is beautiful though unfortunately no photography not allowed inside. The Russian Orthodox service I saw in the late afternoon was the nicest religious service I have ever seen anywhere, Visitors can stand quietly at the back. Though at night the monastery is closed behind a wall.

We have been travelling for work in this region of Estonia (namely Johvis, Kohtla Jarve and Narva) for six years. Every time we have stayed in a highly rated apartment or hotel, we were deeply disappointed (even frustrated). We have not found a single accommodation in this area that was clean or comfortable even for a short stay, whether it was an apartment or a top hotel. Lack of cleanliness, poor bedding, uncomfortable beds - that is what we associated these cities with. We didn't expect anything from this apartment either. As soon as we opened the apartment door ( the building is authentic and very charming) we realised it was love at first sight - spotlessly clean, everything new, magnificent interior!!! Just wow! A very big thank you to the owner for the smooth communication! P.s. there is a great sushi/wok restaurant nearby!

Beautiful apartment, host - Kätlin is looking after it very well, everything is spotless clean with great attention to detail. Definitely a great value for money. I will always choose this apartment when I am visiting Johvi.
Breakfast: good breakfast. There was a good choice of hot and cold. Coffee and tea available. Choice of multiple flakes
SPA: We were there when there were few people. Cool SPA. Five different communal saunas and one private sauna for men and women. There is a large pool. Children's pool and two jacuzzi.
Overall: Despite the cons, we liked this hotel and the comfort it offered. The bed was great, I slept well, the possible SPA gave its benefits.
We liked the restaurant, SPA, and large park. Breakfast was very good. In SPA we liked a rather large swimming pool. Although the hotel was fully loaded, there were not any problems with using all SPA facilities. Beautiful cat makes the atmosphere very cosy.
