The highlight of the stay is the view from the window and the surroundings. Waking up to a lake and having breakfast outside with a lake view was truly magical! The hotel location is very close to Tartu, about 10-15 min away. Spacious and free parking lot. The breakfast was very good and served at reasonable hours. The host actually asked us when we wanted the breakfast to be served. The room and bed were comfortable, clean, and spacious. I wish we could stay longer to explore the outside area more. The views are really fascinating and worth your time!

A well-located hotel with great facilities. we found the room charming and a good size, with a well stocked and sized bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, with good quality bedding. Welcome from reception was quick and easy. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of options. The hotel is a minute's walk from the main square but in a quiet location. Absolute stand out was the spa facilities - great hydrapool, sauna and steam - really enjoyed it.

Hotel Sophia is located in an upcoming neighborhood where the Tartu University of Science and Technology, as well as hospital are within a short walk away.
