Both mornings were very good, the hotel is worthy of its name. Simply and usefully furnished. Nice offer to have tea or coffee anytime in the lobby. Next to the train station and very near to the centre of the city, even so a quiet place.

Nice, efficient staff, particularly the young man who checked us in. We used the train to get to the city centre from the airport & the hotel is only a short walk from the station. This was very handy as we also used the train to get to & from our concert venue (football stadium). Our room 1502 was top floor & very quiet. If you don’t want to use stairs then it can be accessed by a small elevator on 1st floor. It was very quaint & full of character which I loved but my husband struggled a little with the pitched roof & large feature lampshades which hung a little too low for a 6ft person to pass underneath. We were lucky & had a sunny evening during our short stay & made good use of the rooftop bar which was very nice with a good selection of drinks/cocktails served by friendly, attentive staff. We never had breakfast at the hotel but did have an evening meal in the on-site Italian restaurant - delicious food & again friendly , attentive staff.
