DaVaa did not serve breakfast. I did not know this until she told me as I was getting the welcome tour. I wd have liked that. It turned out to be difficult to buy a breakfast in Randers. I did buy myself the makings from a supermarket on day two. Everything else was very good.

The breakfast was well prepared with friendly service. The room with music style was nice but perhaps a bit full with accessories. The building is brand new. We were only shortly there and have no expereinces to add.

Old timey city center with some half-timbered houses and generally traditional architecture. The streets are kinda narrow which gives you a comfy feeling.
The rest of the city is very spaced out, however, which is to say everything is pretty distanced from each other which means you have to get used to walking, and the trainstation is 10-15 min walk from the city center.
I think the best way to describe Randers is that the local H&M doesn't have a male section but they have a very modern cinema. Food was fine. 20 DKK beer at the old irish (Pilsner).

Randers, is not what it used to be.
Randers, is not what it used to be. The city center is now centred around how to get drunk, and how to get something cheap to eat.
It use to be the "capital" of the region, where today it's known for partying and the Randers Rain Forest.
There are some quite intersting buildings to see apart from the Rain Forest, and a walk along Gudenå (river) is also to recommend.
René is a nice person and we had a warm and friendly welcome. The Guesthouse has all you need and was very cozy. It is about 15 minutes drive to Randers, a supermarket is nearby but the Guesthouse itself is a bit outside- really calm and lovely place.
it was the perfect location for our short stay.
We needed a kid friendly place to stay near Randers Regnskov. Olsson B&B is about 10 minutes easy drive from there, and with a pool, small outdoor play area, small indoor play area and extremely friendly staff was a good choice for us.
Beautiful hotel, with a stylish historic decor but modern and convenient rooms. Excellent location right in the middle of Randers. Delicious breakfast.
