Amazing building.. View was great.. But note every room has a different aspect.. Appears minimalist in terms of furnishing with a concrete floor but so comfy and warm.. Parking easy
Situated directly on the beach, this hotel is 9 km away from Esbjerg’s town centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, impressive North Sea views, along with a small sauna and fitness room.
Situated in a central yet quiet area, this hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Esbjerg Train Station. It offers free WiFi and free private parking. The Esbjerg Ferry Terminal is a 15-minute walk away....

It's a dead city that bored the hell out of me :) Thankfully, I was only there for business. The people are nice; the city is clean and efficient, as you would expect from Denmark. Perhaps more exploring would be good, and in the summer or spring, visiting beach areas may be more pleasant.

The beach is quite a walk from the centre

The shopping is excellent with plenty of choice.
The shopping is excellent with plenty of choice. There is a good selection of places to eat. All the Danish people we met were very helpful, friendly and polite - a credit to their nation.
Esbjerg is very well signposted for the walker and driver; we did not use public transport so am unable to comment on this.

Good place to base yourself if you want to visit Wadden Sea National Park or surrounds. Bird watching opportunities and interesting museum on the northern outskirts of town. Also a war grave ceremony from WW2 across the road from the Maritime museum (through the little forest), which includes allied and German graves, and sadly, graves of German refugees who fled to Denmark at the end of the war.

Nice harbour town with brisk west coast weather.
Nice harbour town with brisk west coast weather. Driving in the city was easy, and the town appears relatively clean and well maintained. Would have loved to linger longer and explore activities at the harbour.

A fantastic town for shopping, eating drinking and meeting people.
Really enjoyed the short break and to have eaten at two places suggested for evening meals, La Bamba’s Mexican restaurant and Det Arabiske Køkken. Both places are cosy, comfortable with friendly staff, serving veggie/vegan food and now come highly recommended by myself.
This hotel was generally good, we got it at a good price and stayed there on our holiday through Denmark as we wanted to see Ribe and 'The Men By Sea' and be central to Esbjerg center to be a stroll to restaurants after driving all day. Whilst the hotel is quite basic, great for young travelers and families the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable (actually I had the best night sleep, very quiet). The staff were super friendly and helpful.
This felt just like home and the owner was super cool, welcoming and helpful and at the same time I had my privacy. I prefer Sweethome Guesthouse to any hotel experience. The rooms (and the house) were really clean and nice and all needed facilities were available. Can recommend it as the best place I ever booked via booking.com
I only have good things to say about the hotel .. have bin there some times now .. and it's the same every time .. the Room is clean .. and the staff is so nice and Wellcome you ... All off them just have a smile on there face. It's so nice. The rooms are big. And shower to. You get what you pay for and more then that
Unacceptable service
Landlord never answered the calls
Key box information provided to collect the key was incorrect and we couldn’t get in.
We had stay at the lobby of some other hotel over the night because all other hotels were fully booked
I will never recommend this apartment to anyone
We couldn’t stay in the house because the house was dirty .Nobody clean the house before we came. The smell inside was horrible. We spoken about that on the telephone with call centre and told them that we took some pictures and we will leave the house. We went to a hotel instead.
The stay in a nice hotel in a quiet location
The room was clean and sufficiently equipped. The kitchen is accessible for all and well-equipped.
Breakfasts were good and nutritious
The host was nice and very helpful.
I RECOMMEND
Very kind personnel. Breakfast included for a good price. Small parking area behind the hotel where parking is for free. Hotel is located on nice street in the center. Soluble coffee and cattle available in the rooms.
Outside of the major city, close to grocery stores and bakery. The view of the ocean is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and extremely nice. The breakfast is good (grab an ocean view table:D)
Great stay! Excellent proximity to the Esbjerg Idrætspark and the Svømmestadion - walking distance 5 minutes. Alos, not far from the downtown with many shops and restaurants along the way.
Lobby and restaurant nicely renovated. Everthing was clean. Free overnight parking in public garage behind the hotel until 8 a.m. plus additional 2 hours until 10 a.m. with parking disc.
The hotel/front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant created a different salad for me when they were out of green beans. The cook and wait staff were great!
The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the town center and to the railway station and bus terminal.
They have renovated an old town house building.
