This hotel was located in a small, quiet village. Our request of late arrival was accepted and it was easy with an access code. Self-service bar was a nice idea. The bathroom was large. The inn keeper lady was friendly and breakfast okay.

We enjoyed walks around the lake at Kvie Sø. I would recommend the pancake restaurant by the lake (Pandekagehuset Kvie Sø); the pancakes were delicious, there is a children's playground just outside the restaurant and you can paddle in the lake which is shallow and safe for children.
Legoland, the Lego House and Lalandia aqua park are only about a half-hour drive away. We also enjoyed Karensminde Agricultural Museum near Grindsted - you can walk around the farm and see everything as it was in the 18th and 19th centuries. The old farmhouse is particularly fascinating and there are lots of farm animals to see.
Ghost hotel - you received a code to open main door and a door to your room. However, in the morning you can meet a receptionist and ask for anything.
You can park your car behind the hotel.
The hotel has minimalistic and tasteful interior decor. Each room is decorated in a different music style (e.g. pop room).
The breakfast room has a lot of character.
Great place to stay and visit Ansager and Billund. Nice city, we choosed accomodation in wood house. Three was everything we need. Easy check in and Check out, clear linen and towels, parking place, bathroom and kitchen annex. We recommend this place.
We stayed at the cabins, which are located in a very quiet area a bit outside of the village; the breakfast at the hotel was great (both for the food and the dining room). The staff was very nice and recommended great restaurants in the area

The town was as expected quiet and relaxing. The hotel was not so pleasant. We had to ask to have our towels changed same when we needed toilet paper. Reception desk at hotel inexistent. We had to phone when we needed anything.
