Amazing Stay at a Fantastic Hotel!
Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect.
We arrived a bit earlier than the standard check-in time, but the receptionist was so accommodating and managed to get us into a room right away. This level of service truly set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The hotel's facilities are top. The location is also ideal to visit the city,
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay. We’ll definitely be returning!

The City of Smiles, Århus (or Aarhus as it’s now officially known) has been around longer than any other Scandinavian city, so has had plenty of time to accumulate attractions and eateries. Its vibrant music scene and nightlife are popular with Denmark’s largest student population, and the University Park features the excellent Steno Museum and Natural History Museum.
Weird and wonderful artworks adorn the multi-coloured ARoS museum, and artefacts in the Viking Museum are on the site where they were discovered, alongside copies of exhibits from the Moesgård Museum, located in a forest south of the city centre (closed until 2014). At the heart of the neighbouring park is Marselisborg Palace, the Danish monarch’s summer residence.
The botanical gardens are opposite the Old Town, which is not actually the historic centre but rather a colourful collection of half-timbered buildings from all over Denmark, set around a pond.
Shops and pavement cafes line the Aarhus River which enters the sea by the large port which has contributed significantly to the city’s success. Overlooking it are the ultra-modern Isbjerget apartments, resembling peaks of icebergs. Also innovatively designed is the Modernist town hall, and Aarhus Cathedral has the country’s tallest spire and longest nave.
Booking.com’s accommodation options range from beachfront hotels to cheap hostels and apartments near Aarhus Airport.
I felt safe in the city itself. The people were friendly, approachable and helpful. I really liked the park with the deer where we could pet them. Nice beaches, though overcrowded understandingly. Very clean city, very nice forests for long walks. What I didn't like however, was that to get a bus ticket, you'd have to have an app and pay through it (my partner is Danish so he sorted it for us). It was annoying I couldn't pay the driver myself if I ever needed to. Also some places prefer you pay with card instead of cash (which also was kind of annoying as I had brought plenty of Danish krones to pay with).

Aarhus is a beautiful city.
Aarhus is a beautiful city. We should have looked around a lot more, but sadly we didn't really have a the time. Travelling around by bus can be expensive, but the daily ticket is fairly okay.
There are very cool apps one can install to literally find they way around the city easily. Live tracking of the local transports was a life saver.
The city proper is gorgeous! The ocean view and the walk around the shore is perfect. Lots of super cool things to look for. Like the Aarhus rainbow panorama.
All around a great city with good vibes, good transportation and lovely, friendly, helpful people.

You should try swimming if you visit during summer and get a sunny day at the World's largest Harbour Baths! 50 m long pool with sea water. Also small pools for kids available. Moreover a center for Surf Kite board. Superb. Excellent Street Food area close to the Main Train station, when exiting it all the way down to the Docks... You should pay a visit. All world Cuisines present. Denmark is well known for its foodies approach. Great Local Fish food. All coffee shop offer freshly roasted coffee. Great tastes For coffee lovers as the taste is a bit bitter. Worth it. Of course quite expensive. A single espresso around 6 Euros.... Aarhus is a nice small sea side city the second biggest in Denmark with many young people that study there and give a more lively atmosphere. Also coming from many different countries making the place an international spot.

Lovely city, great size and lots to do for a 4-5 night stay.
Lovely city, great size and lots to do for a 4-5 night stay. We went to a skateboard event, followed by a wander around town and found a great sushi place for dinner with reasonably priced options. Second day we wandered down the pedestrianised shopping street and Salling Rooftop to see the stunning views. Then wandered on to the Latin quarters and stumbled upon a lovely, low-key street market with great vendors and live music. People sitting on door steps and drinking coffees or beers or enjoying an ice cream. Felt inspired and had an ice cream and later discovered amazing Danish hot dogs! Wandered back to hotel to drop off shopping bags and then went to the charming fun fair, Tivoli Friheden. Had fun there, caught a show - realised there was a concert on that evening at the park which explained the up-beat mood. Had a delicious dinner. As we left we took a detour down to the scenic harbour where we enjoyed another soft-ice type ice cream and wandered about yacht-spotting and enjoying the sea-views.
Too short a stay - had an airplane to catch. Must visit again!

My first time in Denmark and it was beautiful.
My first time in Denmark and it was beautiful. A lot of new building projects. A lot of shops and restaurants. A lot of museums. Den Gamble By definitely worth visiting, because there are a lot of museums and you feel like a lot of years ago. Botanical garden is for free, a lot of beautiful plants.
This hotel is very comfortable and close to AROS and other places to visit in central Aarhus. It is a short walk into the city centre. It had great beds and for once - good pillows - the best of our trip, and there is all you need such as small fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc. Good bathroom and shower. There is off street secure parking to keep the car safe if you book ahead. The staff were just lovely. It was a really pleasant experience to stay here, and I would definitely come again.
Lovely location near a harbour. Rooms clean. Tea and coffee on hand in dining area 24 hours. We wished to Aarhus from hotel and had a great time on roof top cafe and shopping. Great place to have breakfast on the harbour area a d places to eat for dinner. Not cheap.
- The location made exploring Aarhus very easy
- Pool table and ping pong were a good touch
- Bath in the room was ideal
- Online checkin before arriving at the hotel was convenient
- Slippers and robes by default in the room
Great location (very close to the center of Aarhus), spacious apartment. The beds were really comfortable (the sofa-bed - not so much).
Everything was clean and nice.
