I got lost by my own fault but actually ended up at the VW...
I got lost by my own fault but actually ended up at the VW factory that I wanted to see so my mistake turned out to be a positive adventure. The place I stayed had a very nice and clean neighborhood with easy walking terrain. At least 90% of the vehicles I saw on my 1 hour walk were VW's. I am sure it is because of the VW manufacturing plant there, haha. I stayed in Neindorf and there are no grocery stores there so you must drive, or take the buts one town up towards Wolfsburg.

Visited the VW Autostadt on a Sunday in September during Covid-19 restrictions. As a VW fan, my visit was interesting - but lacked the factory tour, e-car drive and other things which were not available on the day.
I'd recommend you try to arrange a day when you can do everything to make it really worth while.
I didn't do anything else in Wolfsberg.

The town is really nice and lovely with alot of history to discover. Autostadt is a good stop if you have an interest in cars. Besides that there is alot of nature and the lake is fun for the whole family.

WOB is a small, nice, calm town.
WOB is a small, nice, calm town. People are nice and most of them speak english. The main attractions are Autostadt, Automobile museum, Allerpark (really nice pictures on sunset), Phaeno Science Center, Wolfsburg Castle among others. You also can shop in WOB designer outlet or in the city center shopping mall. You have several restaurants to eat. The only german food that I ate was at Christmas Market, the other restaurants have international food. If you like to walk you can walk around WOB by foot everywhere. I had a car, but I just parked it and just walked.

I loved the factory tour at VW to see how the build the cars with all the robots. You will not see all area but you get a picture how impressing this factory is Europe largest. We watched a game at the Volkswagen Arena was not that crowdy but still nice to been there.
We completely enjoyed the premier inn. We did get the breakfast every day and we were glad we did. The hotel was very reasonably priced and very clean. We found the room a little small even by EU standards but we really don’t care about that bed comfortable. Easily walkable to great kids museum and autostrada. Don’t follow google maps to walk to hotel from train station walk through the large mall. Staff was great. Lots of meeting area or nooks in lobby to meet up with friends and colleagues. Very quiet

The location of the hotel is walking distance to everything there is to do and see if Wolfsburg.
The hotel is very clean and well kept with fantastic staff who speak many languages.
Breakfast far exceeded my expectations and even the bar food was very nice.
In all I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to another stay!
We ended up being upgraded to a room in the Innside hotel right across this hotel so the room review applies to Innside but the location and staff applies to both.

New hotel with extremely comfortable room. Bathroom was really modern with full glass that opened it up to the room / view but also had a curtain for privacy when needed. Very happy with the level or service and the experience as a whole. Highly recommend if you're visiting the Autostad
Amazing location right on the lake shore with lots of different routes to walk around. Very close to the football arena if you are attending the match and a 15 minutes walk to the Autostadt, a place definitely worth visiting in Wolfsburg
Beautiful hotel on a beautifully landscaped property. Spotless inside and room layout was brilliant. Amazing breakfast options in the morning. Everyone on staff was friendly and caring. The best thing - the wonderful price for the room!
Very nice location with green space and castle in front of the guesthouse, 10 minutes walk to Autostadt and 15 minutes walk to downtown. Good breakfast, clean, large rooms with comfortable beds. Nice outside space behind the hotel.
The hotel is well organized and meets actual standards. The rooms have a coffee machine in each room and a free bottle of water. The WiFi coverage and stability is good, which enables working from the hotel room.
Room was large and nice. It was in a building which was next to the main hotel building. Doors were closed in the main building in the morning and I couldn't enter the building of my room once being outside.
The apartment is very clean and cosy. I liked it so much. We would like to go back there again. The location is nice: Phaeno science museum and Autostadt are 7-10 min walk. Everything is close.
