it was very clean and alot of thought goes into preparing each room for your needs. the staff is very friendly and welcoming and helpful. we took our dog and there are many great places to walk him. the breakfast was good.

Decent location for a stop before heading to Triberg/Black forest area. Nice playground in walking distance for my kiddos. They have a in house restaurant which was nice. Breakfast was wonderful.

Wonderful staff and owner, nice breakfast, and clean and comfortable rooms. Our rooms were quiet. Great location in Villingen for train and buses, and 2 min walk to enter the Altstadt. Cap Markt for groceries and Müller for toiletries, personal needs, plus other shops and restaurants all close-by.

VS-Villingen is a Medieval walled city within easy driving (or train) distance of many of the attractions in the Black Forest area of Germany. It is one hour and 15 minutes from either Zurich or Stuttgart International airports.
It has an incredible Fastnacht celebration in February. Like Mardi Gras in the USA, it is celebrated during the last days before the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday). The parades are amazing with ancient wooden face masks and elaborate costumes representing the various regions.

The apartment is attractive and sparkling clean. The owners greeted us cordially upon arrival. The apartment was pleasantly pre-warmed, which was most welcome in December in Germany. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bedding provided perfect warmth. It is conveniently located near a grocery store and a bank with an international ATM, and is within easy walking distance to the City Center. It met or exceeded all of our expectations and needs.
The staff is something I have never seen before: extremely nice, straggling to help, with an endless smile.
No staff in no hotel ever behaved like them.
It looks like the owner of the hotel has a very friendly and human agenda, and he passes it to his staff.

The hotel itself is cute, intinimc, and well located. Clean and organized.

This hotel is quite new with a very modern ambience and outstandingly friendly staff. The rooms and public areas were spotless clean.
The bar was open until well after midnight and offered drinks for taking to the room even beyond that time. An impressive service, considering the rather quiet times due to Covid at the moment. Prices were also very reasonable.

I could park my car in front of the hotel, but they also have a garage. The hotel is located in a residential area.

Rooms were very clean and was great for the price. The hotel is going through renovations. Our room was newly renovated. We were only there at night, so the renovations did not affect us really. If you were planning to stay in your room during the day, it may be disruptive for certain guests.
The staff is really friendly. They responded to my request for a twin room on email promptly. The location is good located in the old town and not too far away from the train station. The value is good and the free mini bar is a nice touch.

Hosts were sp friendly and helpful. Home is nice and cosy. Getting to the parking is a little bit of effort but worth it. Garden at the back is refreshing in the morning. Surely recommend this home stay if you in Villingen Schwenningen.
Absolutely beautiful hotel - clean rooms and a great restaurant. The family that owns the hotel is lovely, they made sure we felt comfortable the entire stay. Our one years old daughter also enjoyed the special attention she gof.
