Stade it my favorite town in Germany. Very beautiful with a rich history (the Danish, the Swedes, Napoleon, Kingdom Hannover, Prussia, etc. Arp Schnittger organs), picturesque, calm, and close to the fruit-growing area of the Altes Land.

Charming old town with almost alle buildings from 1650 approx. because of fire. After the fire, the town was rebuilt in exactly the same way as the previous town with narrow streets.
The area near the harbour, Wasser West and Wasser Ost, is very charming.
The green areas around the town are perfect for walking or biking.
The property was exceptional, clean and and very comfortable (location was very central and perfect for us!). All the amenities you need are literally on your doorstep.
Communications from the host had been excellent (Thank you Victoria for all of your help!).
We are frequent visitors to Stade and will certainly not be staying anywhere else in the future.
My room was small, simple, no luxury at all. The hotel is quite far from the city center but it is mirrored in the price. There is a Penny just 5 minutes from the hotel which is open Mo-Sa 6-22h. There is Döner and a Greek Restaurant in walking distance.
I think, it is a good value for money and ideal for short stay.
The location of the apartment is perfect. Right in the centre of the old town.
The apartment is very beautifully decorated and has everything you need to enjoy a stay in Stade.
It has two toilets which was a great plus.

The hotel is a 200-years old farmhouse with a surprising collection of various vintage stuff inside. Breakfast was served stylish with porcelain and looked fancy.

The best thing about the hotel was the very lovely welcoming man on reception. He made us feel very welcomed and helped sort out our bikes for the night. The breakfast was great! The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean.
