First, we had a really late arrival time (around 23:00), and the host managed to accommodate that! Second, the breakfast - oh, the breakfast. Seasonal fruit, homemade marmelade, Bautzn'r Senf... Perfection.

The village itself is small and run-down but the location is perfect for day trips to Meißen, Dresden, Moritzburg, Chemnitz. Zellwald (little forest) just next to the village is nice for walks (also maps available with small hikes).

Siebenlehn is a very quiet and out-of-the-way place to visit if you feel like getting away from it all. Only one problem - public transport is sporadic and difficult to navigate, especially if you don't have the language. All will be okay if you have a car.
