Bansin is the quieter of the three seaside resorts near each other, which we liked. Free outdoor concerts most evenings. Plenty of places to eat and plenty of tourist shops. Nice tree-lined promenade / bikeway connecting Bansin with Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, also free busses with Guest-card. The resorts were also connected by ferry as each has a long pier. Nice beaches, cold water.
We had an exceptional good stay in Bansin. The hotel is very family orientated with the apartment being tidy and spacious and lovely equipped with everything you could need.
The personell was very friendly and always helpful.
What we enjoyed most was the breakfast with a lot of options, juice, coffee, tea, different kinds of milk, freshly prepared scrambled or fried eggs, a variety of bread and rolls and a lot of different snacks. The breakfast cafeteria was huge with an extra space for children to play.
The hotel is within walking distance of Bansin rail station, bus station, supermarkets and beach. It has rental bicycles, an inner and an outside pool and 3 saunas at different temperatures. You can book massages at the spa. The breakfast buffet is lavish. There was a fridge in the room. Lots of amenities under one roof.
At first we didn’t like the room that we booked but the super nice lady at the reception made it possible to change it and we got with a very little upgrade a fantastic room with an amazing balcony direct infront of the see !!and the fact that there were no kids in the hotel made it even more perfect
The breakfast was fine, what I don’t like, is, that every guest just got only one cappuccino each for breakfast…. I find that pretty narrow minded and this would be for me a reason not to book this hotel again!!!
