Breakfast buffet plentiful and available from 0630 which is perfect for an overnight stop on a road trip. Beautiful view while eating breakfast and a choice to sit in an area with our dog to avoid leaving him out or taking turns at breakfast. Room size great, with kids in bunks in separate room/hallway.
Parking was also good, with a large area just across the road for larger vehicles or if there's a lack of space. Be aware that the hotel is effectively built into the hillside so if you're not very mobile it may be best to check with them to ensure you will have your access needs met.

Hotel Pfefferburg is situated just outside of Schonach in a great location with a beautiful view over the fields and a forested area with a walkway at the back. The staff was very friendly and helpful and advised us of places to eat nearby. The Room was big and had a separate area for the bunkbed; the bedroom with double bed had the ensuite roomy bathroom. There was free car parking available behind the hotel. We had a good night and a wonderful breakfast the next morning.

This was a perfect hotel for underway. We stayed for one night in the family room, which was very comfortable. Our kids were 9 and 11. The room was clean, the view was great and the breakfast was more than decent.
