Staff were good but not always there on site . We had to wait until 5pm to get our room key at the partner hotel one block away . Breakfast was very good and included in the price . Room was large as was bathroom but small shower .

Unfortunately the town as such, while scenic and historic, has closed down! The only place for midday refreshments was the local bakery and our hotel, which is not actually in Rauschenberg. The other apparent hotel restaurant is also closed down. However 9k away the town of Kirchhain has ample facilities.
