The room was very generous in space, and the bed, large and comfortable. Everything was very clean, if a little spartan. WiFi was excellent, and there was generous desk space for laptop use. The TV was modern with good reception. The decor of the hotel might be described as dated, but if you like period features, in this case late 1960's it is a classic. In the UK it would deserve listed status. Breakfast was fairly standard, but there was no other catering available. Other food needed to be taken in the town or collected as a takeaway.
Owner was really nice and helpful, gave us some advice about local restaurants etc. Hotel is located in a very nice part of Porta Westfalica, with nice views towards the Emperor William Monument. Apartment we had was great size (3 bedrooms and a lounge room), all windows have outside shutters so it can be nice and dark/quiet during the night.
There is no kitchen in the apartment, but few restaurants/shops nearby.

This is an apartment in a small apart-hotel and restaurant block, located in a rather coutryside looking area. We stopped overnight on our way form Amsterdam to Berlin. The apartment suits well for a nice stay. The restaurant downstairs is worth visiting (although I don´t think there are many alternatives in the proximity). At least they do not exploit this fact, the food was good. Very nice and super clean bathroom. Altogether the place makes looks to be brand new.
Cozy apartments with terrace. Free parking. The best WiFi internet which I ever met in hotels and apartments in Germany. Hosts are pretty friendly, ready to assist with everything. There is everything necessary for comfort staying in apartments. We strongly recommend it to stay
A lovely German hotel in a small town. Everything is typically German, clean, efficient and organised. The lady who runs the hotel was very friendly and spoke very good English. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. The beds were very comfortable.
