The location is very handy literally walking distance from the old town Centre, next to the hotel there is the river side where you can walk and have some great restaurants and pubs. The windows seal great so you cannot hear a thing from the street, but can hear next door room if someone is loud. The facility has basic equipment and a bar and vending machine but just outside you will find everything.
For us for one night stay (during our road trip) as a couple with two dogs it was perfect!! Had a parking garage that was secured right under the hotel, had comfortable bed, shower with warm water clean towels, you could open the windows and best was that our two dogs were allowed and stuff was super nice about them even asked if we need water bowls for them and green walking area with dogs next door. We were happy overall with everything.

Renowned for its stunning architecture and the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest, Munich needs little introduction. Its vibrant cultural scene, great shopping and fantastic museums speak for themselves.
Munich has something for everyone: from historic palaces and castles, to stunning royal avenues to world class galleries and museums. Don't miss the new city hall in the heart of Marienplatz or the former residence of the Bavarian kings, the Residenz. Munich is also home to the world’s most famous beer hall, the Hofbräuhaus.
For great shopping, Karlsplatz is another commercial wonderland square that takes up much of the city centre and the upscale area around Maximilianstrasse. Munich is famous for its food too, so make sure you try the local Weißwurst, Leberkässemmeln and other popular pork dishes.
Thanks to efficient S-Bahn train, getting to the city centre from Germany’s second busiest airport, Munich International Airport is quick and easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, youth hostels or comfortable apartments, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Munich visit.

A beautiful, historic city with a huge variety of shopping and dining options. Most everyone spoke English which made getting around quite easy. I loved getting some green space at the English Garden park and felt very safe everywhere I walked. There’s so much to see and experience by foot and train that one doesn’t need a car. The public transportation system is well developed and easy to navigate. I truly loved the authentic German food and beer at the Hofbrauhaus. It was full of tourists but we all received a true German experience.

A tourists paradise, from Gardens to Palaces, Allianz arena to Olympic tower, BMW showroom to Deutsches museum, Marientplaz to English garden and last but not the least the Beer Gardens. Their public transport is just awesome (MVV app and Munich Pass). The Germans are very friendly, approachable and specific about cleanliness. Only thing that let me off is cigarette butts thrown all around public places and no body seems to be bothered about it.

Just right! Cosy and welcoming places make your stay pleasant . I recommend the small italian restaurant where Rocco works, next to Motel One Campus in Munnich. Good food and wine and bice time! Also, the Augustina ( Nurrenberg wurst house) in the old town is great!

Munich is a fantastic city for sightseeing and cultural experiences, with a rich history and a vibrant modern scene. It's famous for its Marienplatz square, the Hofbräuhaus beer hall, and its historical significance.
Although I must add people are not that friendly or helpful if you ask someone for help at the Hbf or on the street and especially when you don't speak the language.

Well if you are a fan of beer and a soccer team go for it !
First of all it'a big city , capital of Bayern region , nice old town with classy pubs and taverns (reservations !) . Beer , beer and again beer! . Olympia Park with BMW !
It's perfect for two days or well ... depends on your thirst ....
All around Munich you have a lot of smaller beautifull towns..
Next time I will stay in Nurberg ,
Everything was excellent. Great hotel, staff is so much friendly and helpful! Very comfortable rooms, even all small details are considered for the full comfort of guests. Breakfast is excellent, location is perfect and very close to the city center and main train station. Special thanks to Maria from reception, she was very helpful during our whole stay and helped us a lot to choose the best restaurants of town. Thank you, Arthotel Munich!
Proximity to the Ubahn was excellent, and though the location of the hotel is far from the city center, being so close to the Ubahn (subway in Munich) made getting to and from pretty much everything simple and fast and convenient (and only furthered my "Munich Experience.") Will definitely stay here again. Having a washer/dryer combo IN the room, meant I could start my laundry and go, knowing it would be done when I got back hours later.
Modern hotel close to the autobahn. On our way from the north of Germany to Italy, it was a great opportunity for us to stay overnight in Munich and travel onwards. We had no problem getting to the city centre using public transport. The bus stop is not far away. 2 bus lines run at 20 minute intervals. The room had everything we needed.
Breakfast was satisfactory, a good option for getting some energy before travelling further afield.
The hotel is located close to a S-Bahn train station i.e. Donnesbergebrucke. From the station you can easily reach the main train station of the city (Munich HBF which is also U-Bahn station) and further on you only have 2 S-Bahn stations to Marienplatz (in the city center). From Donnesbergebrucke you have also a direct S-Bahn to the Munich airport (aprox 30 min). Hotel room and bathroom both very spacious. Good breakfast.
A nice hotel with friendly staff, located in a beautiful neighborhood of Munich.
The hotel location is close to a subway station (U-Bahn) and also close to an S-Bahn station. You can move easily to the city center without spending much time on commuting.
Our room was nice and comfortable. We didn't have any problems with noise although there was a construction building on the other side of the street.
Affordable price compared to similar hotels in Munich. It was pretty comfortable staying there and they made up the room daily. We appreciated the cleanliness. Its location is not quite in the city centre, but there is a tram stop 3-minute walking from the hotel and it goes straight to the city centre easily. There are a lot of services around the area, including two good cafés for breakfast.
Location is close to the center near Marienplatz. The suite that we got is a great size and very clean with great amenities. The hotel have a great history as well. The breakfast is delicious and have a variety of choices. The staff are very friendly. If we go back to Munich, we will stay here again! I recommend Hotel Torbrau it does NOT dissapoint! Rob and Connie
Location is very convenient closed to Munich Central Station. Room size is large with good amenities. Reception staff are very kind, helpful & service-minded. Best is hotel offer Euro 10 voucher per night in case guest accepts no cleaning service (min 2-night stay), very good environment strategy and anytime free Dallmayr tea & coffee, excellent !
AMANO is a really modern and stylish boutique hotel in Munich city centre. I enjoyed all little details during my stay - reception, bar, lobby, room styling, etc. The hotel is really the place where I wanted to spend more time, and everything in city centre was super close by walking. Well maintained with high quality bedding, etc. Lovely experience.
The apartment was very functional, it had a small but exceptionally furnished kitchen, TV with chrome casting (forst time ever I used the TV in a hotel), breakfast is a bit on the expensive side, but with many options. The property itself is both close to the city centre and Hauptbahnhof and trains to the airport.
The hotel isn't a luxury hotel nevertheless room are wide, confortable and clean, the managers of the facility are kind and helpful, the breakfast included in the room fee has a good variety of choices and a free parking it's available inside the hotel courtyard fact that in a city like Munich it's a plus.
The selection of hot and cold food at breakfast was great.
The staff were very friendly and always happy to help.
Although there isn't lots around the hotel, it isn't far from Munich City Centre and it was only a 10min walk from my work conference, which was ideal for me.
Great hotel just a short walk into Munich city centre. Room was a good size with everything you need - kettle, coffee machine, fridge. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Nice and clean. Underground parking is expensive but worth the money - lots of spaces, well lit.
Room was comfortable and modern. Facilities okay. Bathroom excellent and the hair dryer the best I have experienced in a hotel ever. Location was the best ever literally across the road from the main train station and a very short walk to the city centre.
The hotel is ideally situated next to Munich's Central Train Terminal.
City centre and shopping areas are within walking distance.
The room was excellent, very comfortable bed, good towels.
Very friendly and competent staff.
The hotel was good , and 5 min to the Ostbahnhof ( München ost train station ) from there you can go directly to the airport and to the city centre but also walk there . It takes about 30 min.
Friendly and helpful staff. The room was a good size and very clean. The hotel is also right next to the train station which makes it easy to get into Munich city centre. We had a great stay.
Smart hotel with modern comfortable room, with Parking option. Located close to Underground station & tram services providing connections into Munich City Centre
absolutely everything… I only stay in the excelsior when in Munich. beautiful boutique hotel across from the train station and walkable to the city center.
