The staff went above and beyond! They not only spoke English fluently, but they even patiently translated the entire menu for me. Their genuine helpfulness made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. And speaking of enjoyable, the restaurant itself was like a 5-star dream. They boasted an extensive wine list, making it hard to choose just one!

Great place to stop while driving up the Rhine. Classic decor took you back in time. They gave us a very good dinner recommendation, only a 20 min walk away which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Great hotel on the banks of the River Rhine, my room had a balcony over looking the Rhine which was very peaceful watching the boat go past. The room was very clean and very comfortable bed. Hotel staff were fantastic and went over and above their duties. Food at the hotel is also very good and traditional. Plenty of parking outside, in a very nice little village.

Wonderfully spacious log house with the most fantastic view and covered balcony means you can eat outside all the time. Apartment is very cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are beautiful walks from the door.

An interesting hotel. On first impressions - dark furniture, dark curtains, dark stairwells (lights come on automatically), and large room, we were curious. The property however is great. The room is large, the curtains, albeit interesting, keep the room dark. The view to the river was awesome. The location is great, right on the main road and across from the river. Nice community too as there are few to no tourists, hence quiet. Breakfast is served in a charming room with old pictures and furnishings. Recommend staying here.

Choice of eggs and bacon every morning. We ate in the Restaurant most nights, food was cooked to perfection. Room was large and comfortable. Good parking in front of Hotel. Very nicely furnished and equipped family hotel with cosy atmosphere. Very spacious and comfortable room and beds. The manager and other staff were polite and helpful. Good buffet breakfast with decent choice of food and drinks even for vegetarians. The location is nice- very close to the beautiful pedestrian area along the river, there are good restaurants nearby.

This is a very cosy and traditional hotel. Really good value for your money. The breakfast was perfect, not very extensive but everything I wanted to eat or drink was available. We also had diner in the hotel, the steak and the Schnitzel (cordon bleu style) was delicious!

the owners are amazing. they were very helpful and kind. the breakfast was brilliant. the hotel building is very old (400yrs) so squeaky floors and rusty corners make the place absolutely unique.
