The room is spacious and has a good sized cabinet. There was even a liter of bottled water, kettle, coffee, milk and sugar prepared that didn't cost any extras. The front desk even has sweets and fruits that guests can grab for free. The room is quiet. The location is also good with a lot of supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops nearby. Karakas the staff was so friendly and helpful!

Gifhorn is worth visiting in its own right, but being so close to several other cities of beauty is a plus. There is a good Autobahn connection, but the slower side roads are also worth traveling. Braunschweig, Celle, Wolfenbuettel, Wolfsburg, Wernigerode, even Goslar are close enough for a day trip. Museums, castles, picturesque Altstaedte are just the beginning.
The host contacted me with excellent directions on how and where to find the key. The apartment was compact, with plenty of space for relaxing inside and on the balcony. A nice touch was the bottle of Volvic water and some biscuits. Plenty of free parking. FAST wifi. Gifhorn had an interesting Mill museum. Place is also about an hour's drive from Celle, Braunschweig, Wolfenbuettel and Wolfsburg, all of which are worth visiting.
It is an average hotel, pretty good price considering the location and surroundings. There is a lot to see around and the hotel itself runs a lot of different activities. Room is a normal size, it was perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff is really nice and speaks pretty good english. Breakfast was great with many choices, i would only love the choice of a bigger glass for a drink.
