Located near central Germany, Frankfurt is not simply the beating heart of the country. It’s also the lifeblood of the European Union.
The German Federal Bank and the European Central Bank are based here, so naturally this is a city where commerce thrives. In fact, the skyline is so punctuated by skyscrapers that Frankfurt is affectionately known as Mainhattan, a pun on the River Main that slowly meanders through the city.
Lining its banks is Museumsufer, a district comprising over 20 museums including Goethe’s birthplace and the Frankfurt Historical Museum. Impressive views of all of this can be enjoyed from the tower of Gothic-style Frankfurt Cathedral which played an important role in the Holy Roman Empire.
In the shadow of the modernist architecture remain traces of quintessential Germany. The reconstructed half-timbered facades in Römer square are picture perfect, and the cobbled streets of Fressgass are always full of locals deciding which café to dine at.
Served by Frankfurt Airport - one of the world’s busiest - this pumping city is always on the move. This means that hotels in Frankfurt gets booked up pretty quickly, so book early with Booking.com to secure the accommodation of your choice.
I found the city to be beautiful, pleasant and clean.
I found the city to be beautiful, pleasant and clean. Public transport is very efficient, but a bit confusing at first, and it takes some time to adapt. Since I was in Frankfurt for an event, I wasn't able to explore the city as much as I would have liked, which leaves room for another visit. Something that I noticed and that caught my attention in Frankfurt is the offer and variety of Chinese restaurants, something that we have much less of in Berlin.

Wonderful gateway to Germany and Europe !
Wonderful gateway to Germany and Europe !
There are various reasonable hotels around the Hauptbahnhof (central station) where you can stay for between 50-80 euros per night, sometimes even including breakfast, where affordable stay is possible.
Transportation is very convenient with easy access to and from the airport by train.
The city is beautiful, especially in the historic center, and there are also modern buildings around the Headquarters of the European Central Bank.
You can enjoy typical German food and beer, and also Asiatic and Middle Eastern food brought by recent non-European immigrants, as in several Afghan restaurants near the central station.

There is almost nothing for tourists in Frankfurt.
There is almost nothing for tourists in Frankfurt. There is pedestrians only center with shops, but that is all. As the saying goes: in Frankfurt you need only two type of clothes, one for work, other for sleep.

The museum embankment festival covered the three days we were there. Its a cultural festival with food, drink and music from around the globe. We mainly visited during the day as our hotel was close to the train station (unfortunately, although near the financial district it is populated by those unfortunate to be addicted to drugs and those that supply). We did not feel safe transiting through this area on our way back to the hotel at night.
Walking and cycling are fantastic with strategically placed bars along the route. Trains both local and country wide are clean, safe and run on time and vastly cheaper than the UK.

City with mixture of well preserve history and historical center , living between center and river. Multicultural with good offering of culture , leisure, gastronomy. Nice and good connected with all public transport options. City card would be recommended for best enjoyment.
Clean hotel & rooms, spacious and room and bathroom, super friendly staff, surprisingly quiet for a hotel this central, the included breakfast is simple yet completely ok and fresh. Frankfurt central station is max. 5min by foot from the hotel (if you walk veryyy slowly), I'm sure the city center isn't too far either. We stayed here to go to a concert in the Deutsche Bank Park which was super easy to reach by tram or S-Bahn. Highly recommended for a short stay! :)
The rooms were comfortable, bathrooms were clean as shown in the pictures. The location is near to Frankfurt airport.
coming to the hotel, the rooms were and the staff especially Tobias was really helpful and friendly.
the breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety. I’d suggest if your stay is short and you need something near to airport, this is a good deal. else go for area in main city Center.
Super convenient location for anyone having a stopover in Frankfurt. Was great to be able to arrive at the main train station and cross the road to our hotel. Short stroll or tram ride to the centre of the city / old town where there is plenty to eat and drink. Included Buffett Breakfast was excellent.
- the location:
located right in the main square of old town Frankfurt, unbeatable location, you walk out of the hotel and it was full of life, many restaurants, cafes, Christmas markets etc
- very good price and quality
- self check in was easy
- room was big, bright and spacious
I do travel to Germany every summer for last 17 years using Frankfurt airport and always stayed at your hotel. My name is in your system. I recommend friends that need a hotel by the airport to check with you.
